酒店靠河，房間窗户靠市區街道，晚上有點吵。但酒店整體環境很精緻舒適，服務很周到，提前寄存的行李下午check in的時候已經幫忙放進房間了。早飯很好吃，每層樓都有免費茶水咖啡供應。歐洲老派精品小酒店的風格。

Beim Besuch auf der Aussenterasse des Hotel Krafft am Muttertag (11.05.2025) waren wir vom Essen sehr enttäuscht. Wir assen Salat, Fisch, Tatar, Risotto, Suppe und Coquelette. Die Broccoli Beilage war zu gross, zu fantasie- und lieblos. Im Vergleich zu früheren Essen, konnten wir uns mit der offenbar neuen „Bistro-Küche“ nicht anfreunden. Der Geschmack der Speisen war fad und eindimensional. Der Koch- und Anrichte-Aufwand schien sehr überschaubar. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war enttäuschend. Das Hotel hat auf unser Feedback per E-Mail NIE reagiert.

War heute um 13.30 an der Rheinpromenade und wollte dort mit meiner Partnerin etwas kleines essen. Nach 15 Minuten, nachdem ein Kellner am Nebentisch eine Bestellung aufgenommen und sich abgewandt hatte, winkte ich, leider erfolglos, einer Kellnerin . Danach standen wir auf, wandten uns an besagte Kellnerin mit folgenden Worten: Wir sitzen nun seit mehr als 15 Minuten hier und versuchten etwas zu bestellen. Wir suchen uns jetzt ein anderes Lokal. Die Antwort war: DANN MACHEN SIE DAS. Keine Entschuldigung, kein Bedauern. Fazit: Die Gastronomie in Basel hat kein Problem, auf jeden Fall nicht am Rhein - ausser mit der Motivation und dem Abstand einiger Angestellten. Sowas GEHT GAR NICHT

Enjoyed our stay at Hotel Krafft Basel very much. Paid for a riverfront balcony and very happy we did. Balcony is huge and offers a great view of the river. Prime location for Old Town, restaurants, shopping or to catch a tram anywhere. Room was exceptionally large and spacious. An Eco conscious hotel that does well but could probably take it a step further. Did like the idea of the central coffee/water stations on each floor, they were easily accessible, well stocked and kept clean. Service is excellent, particularly the front desk. One note is we did not like the design of the shower as hard to keep water from getting everywhere. Also in our room, it required quite a large step to get up to shower level. I am unaware if other rooms are similar or not, but I only mention as anyone with mobility issues might want to check on it. Would be happy to stay here again.

The Krafft Hotel is a supreme example of preserving something with older charater but at the same time making it fresh, clean and up to date. It has great character. The staff were very helpful and as good as any hotel I have stayed at. The cutomer service was exemplary. Overall, our stay could not have been better.

Excellent stay all around. The people are friendly and professional. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and situated right on the Rhine. It's within walking distance of cafes, restaurants, and the market plaza, and is very close to the river cruise docking location. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant, and both meals were fabulous.
