Surfrider Caravan Park

I spent two weeks on the south coast staying in different types of accommodation - motels, B&Bs and caravan park cabins. Surfrider was without a doubt the best value for money of anywhere I stayed. It's a 2 star caravan park so I'm not expecting the Hilton but what I got was a very clean, comfortable & most importantly QUIT place to spend a few nights. Being able to walk across the road to the beach was an added bonus.

The park is not to be missed the staff are absolutely tremendous and very accommodating my daughter and I randomly decided we would go camping and stay in our tent this was our first time using the tent and staying at this particular park absolute prime location beach directly across the road allowing my daughter and I to make memories watching the sunrise we will be returning not faults with this park the staff or its location highly recommend

This is an old caravan park in need of upgrades The river that sites are on stinks The power and water outlets are some distance away from site ( we had to run our extension cord for power through another campsite There is only one bump site for caravans therefore you need a bucket to collect water from sink when you do dishes Toilets and showers were unclean But only good thing was across road from patrolled beach and staff were friend and polite

Fabulous location opposite Blacks Beach. Older style caravan park with short & long-term and casual residents, run by kind and accommodating family management. Although clean and comfortable enough, facilities provided are a little sad and in need of TLC. Cabin accommodation would benefit from more detailed cleaning and decent maintenance.

This is a quaint, small park that we loved. The amenities are old and the park could do with some more maintenance - for example: provide a bin at the camp kitchen and ensure washing machines are operating properly. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay - great location directly across from the beach

Staff were friendly and helpful. The park itself is dismal, clearly not been updated since being built, everything is old and falling apart. $68/nt for the site was overpriced! It was unconcreted, the electric box all wobbly, front fence all wobbly when touched. Front entrance boom gate controller being held up by straps. I consider was far overpriced comparing to the parks Id recently been in, cheaper and much nicer. The amenities really stunk, assume the sanitary pad/tampon containers not being replaced for some time, toilets were running, showers uncleaned, much sand in the shower hobs, all very old. Clearly profits are not being injected into the park.
