"Nice clean hotel, spacious room, comfortable bed, everything you need. I had an issue with the radiator on the first night as it just wouldn't turn off, this was quickly sorted once I told a member of staff. On my last night I couldn't get into my room with the keycard, it was already gone midnight so I was tired and just wanted to go to sleep, It took 2 trip's to reception from the top floor before this was resolved which left me quite annoyed. On my last morning I paid for breakfast, It was a little disappointing, very basic selection on the continental side and the sausages were very poor quality and couldn't eat. There is however a Toby carvery across the road where I had breakfast the day before at a cheaper price, I would recommend going there instead"

"Comfortable rooms. Staff helpful especially Katie who seemed to be covering lots of jobs! Reception and bar/restaurant yet was always pleasant and helpful. Made our stay! Food was well cooked and presented. Breakfasts cooked freshly to order and gluten free well catered for."

"The Travelodge at Barnsley is a small hub hotel with no restaraunt. A take away breakfast is availble. The rooms are clean, with coffee/tea availble in room. Have stayed at this hotel a few times and always found the staff very hekpful. The bed in our room had seen better days as ir had a dip in rhe middle but other than that everything else was fine."

"Great hotel with a fantastic bar and dining area. One thing that the hotel needs to consider is investing in some air conditioning in the rooms. They really could have done with it when we were there. It was way too hot in the rooms. Great location just off the motorway."
