Excellent value. We had sandwiches after a treck up pendle hill. I had lancashire cheese and came with chips salad and hubby had hot beef. Very generous portions and shame we couldn't fit in another visit.

The Inn itself is beautiful in a picturesque village setting. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our accommodation was two side by side apartments with designated parking out front. The kitchen/lounge/dining area is comfortable. The bathroom is basically a cupboard next to the kitchen but is functional. The bedroom upstairs has a slanting roof so you have to be careful not to bump your head, and there is a lack of space around the bed. The velux window is in need of a good clean, but the other window has a nice garden view. We would happily return.

Booked for one night. Accommodation tired and dirty. Ceiling light hanging out of socket at top of stairs. Didn’t smell clean. Shower ran hot and cold. Microwave dirty. Bed was comfortable until we were ten minutes in and could hear mice scurrying around. We then left and drove home. Will not return.

Room quite dirty dust everywhere...the pub itself was dirty too dust all over the picture frames... waitress who was serving food delivered food but she was dripping in sweat....they didn't even realise we were booked into a room when we arrived...since new management has taken over it's disgraceful and dirty very disappointing as been staying here every year..

The location was perfect. Excellent for walking and driving to other areas locally. Staff and food in the Pendle Inn were great. Accomodation was basic and dirty, not worth over £100 per night. We did alert the bar staff to the dirty room and someone came and looked and we were fully refunded. But all you want when you go away, no matter how basic, is cleanliness. This place has so much potential, and its only the cleanliness that let it down.

Dispite the staff being rushed off their feet on a busy Bank holiday Sunday, I was sorted with our room key quickly. Our home away from home was a gorgeous little apartment. Simple but clean and tidy with everything we need. We ate in the inn lovely food. Would definatly stay again. Staff were smiley friendly and helpful.

The staff need more training in basic hygiene. While we were waiting for our food we saw that The waitress drop the forks on the floor and pick it up and put it on the table to be used. She also cleaned the cutleries with a dirty cloth which she used to clean the tables with.

Stayed for 1 night in the accommodation across the car park & ate in the restaurant in the evening. Accommodation was really tired and cheap furnishings. Felt like a low budget place, wasn’t clean and carpeting if dogs stay isn’t the cleanest option. The shower was grim. Don’t think any furniture has been pulled & cleaned behind since this was last decorated, which looks like years ago. Couldn’t wait to get out of there. Waste of £90 for the night. Restaurant food was ok.
