One of the most gorgeous cabins and location I’ve ever been to. Fully stocked and high end everything. View is amazing. Can’t wait to book again. RATING 5 Katherine TRIP DATE 7/22/2020 REVIEW SUMMARY REVIEW DETAIL Skykomish River cabin is as beautiful in person as it is in photos! And the river is even better!! We had a wonderful time relaxing amongst mountain views and crystal clear water. Our only regret is that we did not bring tubes or floats, as the river was perfect for playing and the sun was hot and shining! The authentic log cabin is charming and lovely with attention to detail. The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils, spices, etc. The 2 main bedrooms are very comfortable and the loft easily accommodates lots of kids. We had 4 young adult children (17-25) who slept in the common space loft and they found it to be sufficient and spacious. Lastly, there are plenty of amazing hikes and day trips in the area. It was a wonderful stay and we would recommend and return! RATING 5 Review Detail GUEST NAME Nancy C. TRIP DATE 7/27/2020 REVIEW SUMMARY Great river access, comfortable cabin REVIEW DETAIL Our family of 2 adults and 2 young kids loved our time at this cabin! The inside space is comfortable and well-stocked and the outside space can't be beat. The deck and yard were great for both kid time and solo adult time and the access to the river is excellent with many rocks for skipping, exploring and building, a sandy-ish area with less rocks and slow moving water (great for the kids) and lots of space for fishing. The owner was very accessible and responded to messages quickly. Thank you for sharing this lovey space, we hope to be back soon! RATING 5 Review Detail GUEST NAME Jamie H. RATING 5 Review Detail GUEST NAME Monica TRIP DATE 8/20/2020 REVIEW SUMMARY REVIEW DETAIL Our last night at the cabin my husband and I were sitting by the fire looking up at an incredible scene of stars and I said “in our review of this place is it too much to say this cabin is what dreams are made of?” We decided it was the most accurate statement we could make about the cabin. It’s so perfect! My family had the most amazing time playing by the river, doing nearby hikes and having nightly fires with s’mores. We celebrated my birthday and our anniversary there with our kids and could not have had better days. My boys asked if we could live there and my husband and I want to return every summer. John and Lilah are very kind, helpful and communicative. Thank you for sharing your amazing space with us, we can’t wait to visit again! RATING 5 Review Detail GU

Overall our stay was wonderful! The details inside were so charming and was well stocked. Yard and proximity to water was a dream. Only downside was mattress quality- bed upstairs was sagging a lot and downstairs also lumpy.

My family had the most amazing time at this cabin. Plenty of places to explore nearby and just as nice to just relax by the river too. John was very communicative and the cabin had everything we needed. We would love to come back and do it all over again soon.

This place was magical!! Absolutely breathtaking views from inside the house and the back yard. The house is very well stocked, the owners have really been able to anticipate what guests would be needing or possibly forgot to bring. My family and I were sad to check out and leave this place. Will definitely come back and continue to share this experience with my friends and family! The owner was always prompt to respond to any questions or assistance I needed!

So pretty, so peaceful Spent a few lovely days enjoying the quiet of the space and beauty of the river. The cabin was rustically styled, but very comfortable with everything one would need to enjoy and relax. The hosts were very responsive and kind when I reached out after the power abruptly shut off the first evening (and I was sure I'd tripped the breaker as there was no weather), as well as when I could not for the life of me find the router to reset it and get the internet going. As I'm guessing that instructions on both those things, which had very quick resolutions, were included in the guest manual ( that I mistook for guest book for my entire stay and never opened), I should probably also include "patient" in my description of the host. This is definitely a place I will come back to an enjoy!

Perfect family getaway This was our second time staying at this property and we loved it so much we've already booked our third! Everything was just as wonderful as last time and even though our stay coincided with a bit of a heatwave, we enjoyed cool breezy mornings at the river and felt very comfortable with the AC (reverse heat pump) unit inside during the warmest parts of the day. This is just an amazing place for some quality family time away from the hectic everyday. We can't wait to be back!

Beautiful place There was alot of rain during our stay so we spent alot of time at the cabin. This is a beautiful and cozy place, hang out by the river or light the fireplace and stay warm inside. We were very happy with this place.

Quiet riverfront getaway with amenities for all weather We had a great time at this cabin in spite of the very rainy weather. The cabin had plenty of activities for any weather situation, with both yard games and board games. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals at home. The water access was great with the neighborhood trail next door another little treasure this property offers. The cabin was private and quiet and the hot tub was so enjoyable. The views of the river both inside and out were amazing. The fireplace indoors and fire pit outdoors were also great. The little touches around the cabin were wonderful. This was very close to the highway but also very quiet and secluded. The weather impacted our hiking planes but we still had plenty do to at the cabin. The dogs loved the yard and having water access. The beds were comfortable as well.
