"From the moment I arrived until the day I departed I was immersed in the Nepali culture both within the resort and out. My hosts filled me with wholesome, homegrown organic Nepali dishes 3 times a day. I was nourished by the stories of the family and the history of the country up to the current moment. My bungalow is generous in size. The garden landscape is well cared for and pretty. Pricing of my room, meals and excursions around the village and into the Bardia game park was very affordable. I have been here at the resort for 14 days and shall leave with many fond memories of the family and local community. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here."

"Despite many requests to owners and senior staff to turn down the loud music the techno thumping noise kept going on and on and on...making the pleasant day miserable. Three owners were at the resort, even after two requests they did feel strongly enough to STOP the music at the Bardia National Park. This is a nationa treasure that should be preserved with the wellbeing of animals and community nearby but disappointed that the owners did not feel the same."

"I absolutely loved this place! Our guide, Keshab, came all the way to the airport with the driver to pick us up. We were lucky to have him as our private guide the entire 6 days we stayed there. He is the best guide I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot! The lodge is beautiful and the food is amazing, the best we had in all of Nepal! All the staff are kind, considerate, polite, and professional, and they treated us so well. There were hardly any other visitors, so it felt very private. Our driver, Manpati, was also very good. The wildlife was incredible! In 4 full day safaris we saw 3 tigers, a leopard, a rhino, otters, crocodiles, birds, and a whole herd of wild elephants. They have both a smaller uncovered vehicle and a larger covered vehicle for the choice that suits you. A truly beautiful place and quite a good bargain, too; about 3 times cheaper than safaris in India. In our last night we had beer, shisha, and a great song and dance from the local villagers."

"The best experience into the wilds...We had pleasant and wonderful stay @Samarth Resort..The staffs were so friendly and polite.Food was amazingly delicious!!Tharu dance was unique.We had Whole day Jeep Safari and every second was worth it!! I was there with my family and we saw Wild Elephants, Wild Boar, Deers, Jackal, Langoor, many different Birds and 3 TIGERS.. Our Guide Mr.Keshav Hamal was experienced and did an excellent job..He was so much alert and clear. Thanku Samarth Resort for your hospitality!!!"

"Wonderful stay once again. As a repeat guest, it’s great to see how the property only gets better over the years - they now have a beautiful swimming pool! - whilst remaining true to its historical legacy and excellent wildlife experiences enabled by a teams of incredibly experienced naturalists and guides. Since its renovation, rooms have only become more comfortable and include AC which is a godsend in the warmer months of the season. Above all, the staff offer such generous hospitality and are always very attentive to our needs. We loved the Jeep safaris in their classic open top handovers and the tranquil boat safari down the river. Stayed for 4 nights but would have loved to been there longer and cannot wait to be back again."
