"Despite many requests to owners and senior staff to turn down the loud music the techno thumping noise kept going on and on and on...making the pleasant day miserable. Three owners were at the resort, even after two requests they did feel strongly enough to STOP the music at the Bardia National Park. This is a nationa treasure that should be preserved with the wellbeing of animals and community nearby but disappointed that the owners did not feel the same."

"my girlfriend and I had a really nice time at Madhu’s homestay. we came to experience the real wildlife and see some animals in their natural habitat. Therefore Bardia national park was the best choice! Madhu’s Resort is really a quiet, calm and green place to recover after our long mountain trek. The rooms are very clean, the bed is very comfortable and we had the opportunity to take a nice hot shower. we also did some yoga in his garden and just watched the sun goes down. the food was outstanding, with ingredients that grows in his garden. Madhu’s wife Anita is a very excellent cook. she always switched the dishes and asked us every day if we have special wishes. we did also some jungle walks and jeep safaris. Madhu and the Guide Ram are very experienced to find animals. Ram have perfect senses to detect noises and animal movements we never would recognize. he knows also very much about the animals and their behavior. overall we can 100% recommend this experience with Madhu, his nice family and Ram. We also want to come back in the future!"

"I absolutely loved this place! Our guide, Keshab, came all the way to the airport with the driver to pick us up. We were lucky to have him as our private guide the entire 6 days we stayed there. He is the best guide I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot! The lodge is beautiful and the food is amazing, the best we had in all of Nepal! All the staff are kind, considerate, polite, and professional, and they treated us so well. There were hardly any other visitors, so it felt very private. Our driver, Manpati, was also very good. The wildlife was incredible! In 4 full day safaris we saw 3 tigers, a leopard, a rhino, otters, crocodiles, birds, and a whole herd of wild elephants. They have both a smaller uncovered vehicle and a larger covered vehicle for the choice that suits you. A truly beautiful place and quite a good bargain, too; about 3 times cheaper than safaris in India. In our last night we had beer, shisha, and a great song and dance from the local villagers."

"If you want a real safari experience you should certainly visit Tiger Tops Lodge !!! We had a wonderfull safari with real professional guides who did everything in their power to let us see the tiger. Personnel was very very friendly. Food was excellent. The lodge was very beautifull. We enjoyed the atmosphere and will never forget the hospitality of everyone who crossed our path at this wonderfull resort !!! We will come back some day !!!"

"Great experience. Beautiful location. The owner snd staff were beyond gracious. They went out of their way to accommodate us. The food was good, there was a Nepalese dance festival they hosted while we were there. The proximity and location near the Park could not have been any more convenient. Our guide and driver were amazing, and super knowledgeable and did their best to give us the full Park experience. We were able to see the Bengal tiger, the Leopard, and the Rhino in our two days there. It is a perfect place for adults and kids alike. We saw both groups at the hotel"
