Sinclairs Burdwan

The Hotel was best in class... Currently it doesnt stand a chance in front of RJ Hotel in burdwan. The Rooms are old and washrooms are not deep cleaned. Banquets are very very old and do not fit any star category. Reception is changed and to be found no where. All old and broken marble and tiles everywhere . No Gloss or Shine. Staffs are not well maintained. Old shabby clothes , torn shoes and what not. Feels funny. Attending many marwari function in this hotel since its opening. Pathetic condition of swimming pool. Many time under maintenance and the pool is totally broken. Only highlight of the hotel is also under destruction. I do not allow my kids to paly in the pool due to injury , happened earlier as well. Sine last 6 years , same shabby looking banquet without any renovation or modernization. Lack of rooms and we had to cramp us in this limited rooms. Only due to the size of the Lawn , it running or else it will be closed in upcoming years. Please keep Saswata and Bapi , as they are your asset. Excellent service and attention from them every time. But sorry to them , as my family disturbs them a lot.

Location is good, rooms are comfortable and staffs are courteous. food was good at restaurant and with great service with special mention to Swarup Mukherjee who always welcomed with smile.

Dear Sinclairs Management Team, We have recently conducted a corporate meeting in Sinclairs Hotel Burdwan. We have done in Chalsa as well in Last Year. Hell & Heven Difference in Quality of Hotel wise. Hard to believe its of Same Banner except the brilliance of some staffs like - Mr. Mukherjee / Manager (Can be seen or available in each corner of the hotel) & Bapi / Banquet Head might be , is super energetic guy with fantastic handling skills. The rooms , banquet (company is actually paying for) & everything are neat and clean but the infrastructure is like 10 Yrs back. 2 star for that. The banquet is really not upto the standard matching with other property like Chalsa. Old worn out Ac's , Dim Lighting , Shabby Coloured Interior walls. Only thing is Net and Clean AC's are not up to the mark in the rooms (not directly booked by me - went in my Boss's room) and in the banquet dining area as well. Its like a room heater with full capacity. The food is awesome and the staffs are highly trained to handle any adverse situation with their utmost capabilities. But the staffs are limited. Pool is also worn out , might cause wear and tear to any guets but it is highly maintained and cleaned. Washroom has no curtains , quite astonishing. How will 2 -3 people take path god knows.

We have a very good time here and specially Mr. Swarup Mukherjee gave us a very warm welcome and he was very sweet and efficient throughout. The food is also delicious. I Highly recommend this place to those who wants to spend a quiet and lovely dinner.

We were welcomed by Thakur, great hospitality and nice atmosphere in this hotel. The staff is friendly and the place is extremly clean. It’s a bit far from the city center bit close from the bus stand. There is a nice pool also. Thank you, I recommend!
