WYKwokLoved our stay, room was new, clean and we had a terrace on 2/F where we can sit and relax.
The host/owner was very nice and friends and we had a great chat over tea with him offering helpful information. Unfortunately, we went as a time when the water level of the lake was low , so the view itself was not great. But location wise, it’s great when it’s the proper season (after July/ Aug).
The roof top common area is great to chill over drinks and coffee.
They offered a simple local breakfast, which is much appreciated.
It was also very heartwarming when the host gave us some local herbs and preserved vegetables so that we can use it to make local dishes back home.
Will definitely stay here again next time - when the lake is at it’s mostly beautiful.

Guest UserCame here on a friend's recommendation, and it didn't disappoint! The hotel is located in the heart of the Yingxi Peak Forest scenic area, surrounded by karst mountains, offering incredibly expansive views. Its pure white exterior really stands out amidst the peaks. Inside, it beautifully blends rustic elements with modern aesthetics, feeling both luxurious and authentic. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the cleanliness is impeccable, with comfortable and spotless bedding. The butler team, both the gentlemen and ladies, provided warm, attentive, and super-responsive service. The infinity pool on the fourth floor perfectly reflects the mountains, making for stunning photos! Nearby, you can also visit the Shan Ka La Ka Campsite and tea gardens. It’s only a 7-minute drive from the T3 Tea Garden – Yingde is a famous tea-producing region, so it’s a must-visit!

This was an absolutely fantastic stay, with thoughtful and attentive service. As for the views, they speak for themselves – rainy days offered a poetic charm, foggy days resembled an unfurling ink wash painting, and when the sun came out, it was a completely different, vibrant landscape. Shopping was a bit inconvenient, but the hotel facilities were excellent and the service meticulous, meeting most of our needs. If you come by car, you can also explore the nearby villages and towns. We came here specifically to escape the hustle and bustle with our loved ones amidst the mountains and rivers, seeking a sense of inner peace. When you think about it that way, the somewhat remote location was perfectly fitting, wasn't it? 🙂

Quiet and elegant residence, warm as home
As soon as I stepped into this B&B, I was deeply attracted by the environment in front of me. The courtyard is filled with well-arranged green plants and dotted with flowers of all seasons. When the breeze blows, the fragrance of flowers and grass interweaves, making you feel like you are in a private garden. The interior of the house is even more special. Every corner is carefully decorated. The wooden furniture exudes a warm luster and is matched with soft fabrics to create a warm and retro atmosphere.
What surprised me most was the cleanliness of the B&B. The room was spotless, the bed sheets and quilt covers were white and new, the toiletries were neatly arranged, and there was no odor in the bathroom. It was obvious that the owner had put a lot of effort into hygiene. During the few days I stayed here, I could feel physically and mentally relaxed when I woke up every day, as if all my fatigue was soothed by this quiet space.
The boss is a very warm person. Every time we meet, he greets us warmly and answers our questions patiently. He would also prepare some special snacks according to the season, making us feel at home during our journey. He said that he hopes every guest here can relax and enjoy a good time, and he is just trying his best to create a comfortable nest. This dedication is really touching.
If I come again next time, I will choose this place without hesitation and share this beauty with more friends.

Guest UserFirst off, I have to commend the hotel's thoughtful service—right after checking in, a staff member immediately helped with our luggage. This unexpected surprise instantly melted away our travel fatigue; it was truly heartwarming!
The hotel's ambiance is simply beyond words. The overall design is incredibly beautiful, with both the lobby decor and room furnishings exuding style. The view from the window is also very pleasant, making for a truly relaxing experience.
I especially want to praise the front desk attendant. His service attitude was super enthusiastic! Not only was the check-in process quick, but he also patiently introduced us to nearby attractions and local eateries, which made us feel very welcome.
Finally, I must mention the hotel's dinner—the taste was absolutely fantastic! The dishes were diverse, the ingredients fresh, and every bite showed true care. This stay was a perfect 10, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit!
It was a pleasant surprise to receive a souvenir gift upon departure. Thank you 🙏

Room 103 was clean and tidy, and it even had a 100-inch projector! The space was quite generous too, easily accommodating a family of three. This guesthouse is truly fantastic; it offers an integrated experience for dining, entertainment, and relaxation, plus a complimentary breakfast for two. Highly recommended!

The resort's design is exceptional, with renovated old buildings offering a tasteful yet unpretentious ambiance. The floor-to-ceiling windows frame the rice paddies and mountain views like natural paintings. The room was clean and cozy, and the bedding was so soft I didn't want to get out of bed. In the evening, my family and I watched birds by the rice fields, and at night, we enjoyed a hot spring bath in the courtyard while stargazing. It was a truly delightful family trip.

I stayed at the Chocolate Kingdom Hotel in mid-October. At that time, some facilities were already showing their age and seemed a bit neglected, and there were fewer staff members. However, I truly felt their dedication in every service they provided; their excellent service more than made up for any shortcomings in the hardware. We had a hot spring package. The hot springs were less crowded during the day and more so at night, so it was good to go at off-peak times. The package also included two-day tickets to Chocolate Wonderland, and at that time, there was a shuttle cart service. When I went back in December, the shuttle was gone, so I want to warn fellow travelers that if you're not driving yourself, think very carefully before booking, as it's a 20-minute walk from the park to the hotel. But since there was a shuttle service in October, and I genuinely felt their dedication in every service, I'm giving a good review for that stay. For December, I'd give a bad review.
