Oh, where do I begin? The venue and room were truly a masterclass in false advertising. The photos online must have been taken in an alternate universe — or perhaps after a professional cleaning crew and a film crew spent a week there. What we walked into bore zero resemblance. It was almost impressive, really. The moment we entered, we were greeted by a charming aroma — a pungent blend of stale air and abandonment. Clearly, the room had been hermetically sealed for centuries. We made the grave mistake of opening the curtains for a bit of sunlight, only to unleash a biblical cloud of dust. For a moment, we thought we had triggered a trap from an Indiana Jones film. Bravo. And then came the pièce de résistance: the bathroom. The flooring was so poorly leveled that water decided to form a small lake right at the entrance. Because who doesn’t enjoy an unexpected foot bath of cold water at 3 a.m.? It’s the kind of luxury one can only dream of. As for the amenities — a true triumph of mediocrity. A dusty corner with some DIY beverage packets. Coffee, chocolate powder, maybe sadness in sachets. Nothing remotely worth mentioning unless you count disappointment as a feature. In conclusion, we will never be returning. It’s astonishing that a company with an entire chain of hotels can still manage to bungle the basics of hospitality. At this point, incompetence must be a core value. This wasn’t just a bad stay — it was an endurance test.
