Small towns are the best. We walked to everything within 1/2 mile--so much better than online home rentals or hotel chains! The local mom and pop owners are very focused on each customer. The care and personal service by the staff was above and beyond expectations. We loved feeding the ducks (thank you for the corn), the firepit was a great way to end the day (thank you for the firestarter and wood), the music and shopping and restaurant recommendations were all perfect, thank you Noreen! What a memorable place to celebrate a birthday and anniversary weekend- thanks y'all!

Peace and quiet
The cabin was awesome. Went to get away for a few days. A minutes walk from the river. Nature at its best. Ducks, deer, birds. Very peaceful. Walk away to great restaurants, bars, dancehalls, boutiques and shopping. Cabin was clean and quiet. Absolutely enjoyed this 2 day get away.

Love staying at The Vaquero, staff is wonderful and accommodating and the place is kept in impeccably clean condition. The beds are comfy and you have everything you need in the lil kitchen and bathroom. I will be back.

It was very nice. Tracy was wonderful to deal with. The only thing was that the bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working and one lamp switch didn't work. But that's just what happens in life so we loved it and will definitely return when back in Bandera.

The Vaquero was a cute lil cabin across from the River in Bandera Tx. The room was beautiful and modern with everything you need to have a comfy stay. The beds were comfortable and the room was so clean upon arrival. The host was very accommodating and kept in touch all week. I will be back and highly recommend this place 😊

I really enjoyed staying here, everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable! It's very peaceful and quiet. The only thing I would complain about is the air conditioner window unit is very loud and kept waking me up. Other then that it was a perfect stay.

New favorite place to stay in Bandera,Tx.
Well let's just say we absolutely plan on returning. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, across from a county park, pet friendly and loved the front porch to sit and relax.

Great Stay
We enjoyed our brief stay the staff were friendly and helpful, the location great to walk into town. Our only issue was the AC which was incredibly noisy and difficult to regulate. Despite this we loved our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Vaquero motel during our short road trip trough Texas. We stayed in de Farmhouse which was very spacious and the bed was really comfortable. During our check-in Tracy made us feel very welcome and thanks to her tips we enjoyed the best bars and restaurants, all within walking distance. Bandera is a really fun and cute town to visit!
