Everything was okay apart from amenities like the iron took forever to get. Great view, clean rooms, excellent service and all round resort with bars, restaurants, spa, the beach at your doorstep but they need to renovate the building. The leaking inside the ceiling is not great to see in the corridors.

Great hotel for large groups. We had 14 people there April and four of us went back September this year. Great view from the rooms and located on a nice beach. Loads of entertainment around the pool and singers on weekends. Its self catering but loads of restaurants at the hotel and close by in Balito. Well worth the visit

Don’t stay at La Montagne Ballito I am currently staying at the La Montagne Resort in Ballito and to say I am disappointed is a huge understatement!!!!!! This has got to be the noisiest resort I have ever stayed in!!!! The sounds of banging and drilling are constant!!! The cleaning and maintenance staff are also extremely loud from early in the morning.Complaining about this falls on deaf ears😡 The room we are staying in is scruffy-the curtains are dirty, the cupboards have damp and mould and there is hardly any packing space for clothes. Over and above this, the resort allows droves of day visitors to come in. For the paltry sum of R125, anyone can come and use any of the resort’s facilities which are meant for paying guests!!!! Complaining about this also falls on deaf ears😡 Any complaint is met with the same response ie “ Terribly sorry for your inconvenience but we can’t/wont do anything to help you” The lack of any concern at all over whether the guests are happy or not is astounding!!!!!

Breakfast staff made note of the tipping system and it’s not added to the bill before introducing herself or asking if we wanted coffee.
