The Sankara Beach Resort - Nusa Penida Reviews

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Bali. First of all, there was no bottled water in the room. I drank the water they provided and had dinner at their restaurant, and by the next morning, I woke up with severe diarrhea. Because of this, I couldn’t go anywhere on the second day—completely wasted. On the third morning, I still wasn’t feeling any better, but despite being too weak to get out of bed, the front desk kept calling non-stop to remind me about the 11 AM checkout. In low season, are you really fully booked? I asked if I could check out at 12 PM, and their response was, "It is not happening." Is this even polite? Secondly, the room facilities were disappointing. The toothbrush was of such poor quality that every time I brushed my teeth, it shed like crazy. Be very cautious with their food and water. The hotel’s location is great—right by the beach, and the views are stunning. But the service attitude is honestly scary.

I went on vacation with my friend's husband. I have to say that the environment of this hotel is really good. You can clearly see the volcano from the door of the room, and it is right opposite. It is beautiful. Since there is a snorkeling site by the beach, you can also snorkel when you play by yourself. You can also see a lot of corals and small fish. The breakfast of the hotel is also made to order, and the taste is very good. The only thing that is not ideal is that because it is an island, there are more bugs and mosquitoes. But you can ask the front desk for electric mosquito repellent at night, so that you can sleep much better. There is also the problem of water quality. The replacement core of the shower head I brought over has turned yellow, but these do not affect the beauty of this hotel! I will definitely come to this hotel next time I go to Bali.

The swimming pool and the beach are right outside the door, giving you a Maldivian feel, full of holiday vibes. It's a ten-minute drive from the pier, and renting a motorbike is very convenient. The room is a little small, but it's already pretty good in Penida. Breakfast is ordered and served in the public area, and the scenery is very nice

We stayed in this hotel on Penida Island. Overall, it was great. The view from the hotel was great. You could see the blue sea when you entered the hotel. There were two large swimming pools with clean water. The power person in the hotel was also very nice. We dropped our bank card in the hotel and they picked it up for us. They also provided us with a lot of help. The lady at the front desk helped us contact the motorcycle driver. Her name was Erna. I give her a thumbs up!!!

The hotel is in Penida, right outside the beach and you can see Mount Agung. The service staff are very nice and the room is very clean. Will stay here again when visiting Penida next time!

The pool and the sea are right outside the door. The view is perfect. There are so many corals at the door. The only downside is that the restaurant is not very good. Apart from this, there are no downsides. It is also close to the pier and easy to get a taxi.

The scenery of Nusa Penida is very beautiful. A lady waiter in the restaurant was very enthusiastic to help us. It was a very good stay experience. I hope it will get better and better.

Super beautiful hotel, infinity pool facing the sea, I feel like I can stay here for a month hhhhh The food is also good, I had diarrhea before coming to the hotel and didn't dare to eat anything, so I ordered pasta from the store, it was delicious! There is also rice pudding (actually coconut milk blood glutinous rice) which is super delicious! Eat it continuously! (Remember to reduce sugar) The service staff is also very friendly and enthusiastic

The hotel has a nice view, but the beach is sometimes not very clean and there are a lot of bugs. Overall, it is great value for money, the food is good, and I am very full every breakfast.

The room is right by the sea, and it is very enjoyable to walk on the beach in the evening blues. It is worth mentioning that the hotel's breakfast is very delicious, and you can dine while looking at the ocean and the volcano. It's a pity that each person can only order one serving. As a strong woman, I can actually eat two servings. There were many dolphins in the sea in the morning and greeted us from afar. It was a very beautiful day. I regretted that I only booked one day to go to Komodo to play. It is worth staying for a consecutive stay next time. If you want to book, it is recommended to check in early so that you can get a room with a better view. And make an appointment for the car and boat to the port in advance. Booking this service from the hotel will be much more expensive. Fortunately, we have a local friend who met the day before to help us.

The breakfast was delicious, but it was a rainy day when I came. If it was sunny, it would definitely be beautiful here. You can snorkel here. It's very quiet and there are few people. It's close to the pier.

The room was nice and clean with good facilities and no mosquitoes. I really miss the night I stayed here. It was like being isolated from the world. The heated swimming pool, clear water and the volcano in the distance. The only drawback was that the weather was bad and the volcano was covered by clouds.
