Hotel Costa Azul ★★★★

"We had a really enjoyable stay at the Costa Azul, this Hotel is lovely. Extreemly clean, family run and managed, with great emphasis on creating a proffessional image. Maria & Daniella, Linda & Lydia were always avaliable to answer any questions and make your visit pleasant. We had a standard double room which was very comfortable and relaxing, although situated by the railway the trains ran a minimal service. Food was quite adequate, breakfast is continental and dinner was pre-ordered in the morning. The external dining area was by the pool. The location was fine -with transport, quite a walk from town by beach - but town was quaint with fantasic seafood resturant, nice bars and wow what a lovely ice cream parlor. I reccomend a car, so much to see, amazing views and so many places to visit. The train from Balestrate to Palermo is well worth the trip. Loved Segresta, San Vito, Caslemare del Golfo all accessable by car. The rubbish is a problem you will encounter in Sicily it is not a problem of the hotel although the management endevour to address this issue. Would return with no hesitation, I felt we had a real glimpse of what Sicily could offer, Loved it !!"

"The resort is in good condition, although routine maintenance is not performed. In our room, the outlets and hairdryer didn't work, and the towel hook was detached from the wall. The staff seemed poorly informed about the resort's amenities. Regarding food, it's best to dine outside, as you can find much better options for the same price. Otherwise, the resort is average."

"Hotel is well located but split across a quiet road. No real complaints, but the room wasn't as nice or big as expected (for the price & description) - decor was very tired. Breakfast was fine. Swimming pool was tiny (picture is v.deceptive!). Spa is in basement of the building opposite the main hotel - we had a massage which was OK. Town is pleasant but not anything of great interest. It is a good location for exploring the north coast (you'll need a car)."

"We spent New Year's Eve with the family at this farm, a wonderful place to spend relaxing days in contact with nature, compliments to all the restaurant staff of which I only know the name of Mr. Angelo, professionalism and courtesy were the qualities of all the waiters in addition to the attention to celiac customers and a thank you also and above all to the kitchen .... the only flaw regarding the rooms is the taps that need to be maintained more often honestly or changed and to check the water pressure that sometimes, especially when the rooms are all full the flow decreases. Good work and see you next time!"
