Linhai Hotels with balcony

A low-key and cozy mountain B&B. The room is not big but very comfortable. The two owners had their own unique insights into the decoration and management of the B&B, and they had a very good chat. The dishes on the dinner table are the taste of the mountains, simple and delicious. In the early morning, I woke up to the chirping of mountain birds. Outside the window, I saw the distant mountains and mist, the clear stream, the white goose and the old trees. I suddenly felt like I was in the Tang and Song Dynasties.

✨ A hidden gem in Taizhou: Fuchen Yin 府城隐 What makes this hotel truly special is its incredible story — a beautiful transformation from an old 财神庙 (temple of the God of Wealth, so yes… extra good fortune vibes 😉) and a historic printing factory into a serene luxury retreat. Tucked away in a quiet residential alley and accessible by buggy, the hotel feels like a secret escape from the busy world. The moment you step inside, you feel a sense of calm. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with generous spaces to unwind, relax, and simply enjoy the moment. My favourite corners? The library, where I spent time getting lost among the books, and the piano area, where I happily played a few tunes. These little details made the stay feel more like a home away from home rather than just a hotel. The breakfast was an absolute highlight — a celebration of Taizhou’s local flavours. I loved discovering so many regional specialties: 🍵 青草糊 — a refreshing grass jelly dessert with a wonderful touch of peppermint that made it even more refreshing 🍜 姜汤面 and 芋头面 — comforting local noodle dishes 🍰 三色糕 🍚 乌饭麻糍 (with red bean filling) 🥟 扁食 …and so many more delicious local treats that I wish I had a bigger stomach! They even helped me buy the famous 海苔饼 — the whole reason I came to Taizhou — and it arrived piping hot. Truly the kind of thoughtful service that makes a trip memorable. The hotel facilities are exceptional. From the beautifully designed spaces to the thoughtful amenities, everything has been carefully considered. The bed deserves a special mention — probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. They also provide turndown service, luxurious toiletries, and a complimentary minibar (which, by the way, included local rice wine 🍶 — just saying 😉). A huge thank you to every member of the Fuchen Yin team for making my stay so warm and memorable. The combination of history, design, local culture, incredible food, and heartfelt hospitality makes this one of the most unique stays I’ve experienced. Definitely a place I would love to return to. 🤍

I saw and booked Dada on Ctrip, and then found it at the Sanfujiji in Ziyang Street. It was incredibly well-received and exceeded my expectations! The hotel's facilities are quaint and classic, just like the city of Linhai, rich in history yet humble and understated. It's truly charming! The hotel's housekeepers and staff were incredibly hospitable. My two children were so well cared for by their attentive care, and they were incredibly accommodating to every request. There was absolutely nothing to fault! Overall, the hotel's rooms, facilities, accommodation, and customer service were all top-notch. It's a truly worthwhile stay and a fantastic value!

This hotel is quite charming—it’s a large, old house that has been nicely converted into several hotel rooms. Our room was very comfortable. However, a heads-up regarding the bathroom: there was no door on the toilet area, and the shower was an all-glass enclosure. Since I was traveling with my husband, it wasn't an issue for us, but if you are traveling with friends, you might want to be aware of this lack of privacy. The location is excellent! It’s right next to the City Wall and super close to several great restaurants and cool bars. We also liked the service; the staff were quite attentive. One thing I found confusing, though, was that they didn't register my address as per the usual government standard for foreign guests, which most hotels in China follow. As for cleanliness, it was standard for China—there were a few stray hairs in parts of the room (usually women's hair), but I find this happens in practically any hotel here. Overall, it was a good stay!

The facilities of the homestay are very advanced and very clean. The breakfast is also standard for chain hotels, very rich! The boss wife is very enthusiastic, personally pick up and drop off, and also specially go to buy me the items I want! I especially like the small courtyard of the homestay, and the entertainment facilities are also very complete. It is very suitable for three or five friends to gather!

The four sisters finally found the right time and wanted to get away from the noisy city atmosphere of Linhai City, so they randomly found a homestay in the mountains to gather. Unexpectedly, it was a surprising experience! 🤩🤩 🍀🍀 I like the environment here! After getting off the car and walking through the stream in front of the door, I felt that I was integrated into the environment of the mountains all of a sudden⛰️⛰️, and my brain was instantly empty💨🥃🥃We brought our own wine (my friend can mix it) and a lot of things. The owner was very enthusiastic to see us partying and let us use the karaoke room for free🎤, and we were happy until 11:30 and then went to bed💤💤 The next morning, when I opened the window, I was healed by the morning air in the mountains. I could go out for a walk along the mountain road. The homestay provides homemade breakfast (homemade noodles🍜🍜, which is too friendly for us who have been drinking all night) and you can do morning exercises with the owner (maybe it was Ba Duan Jin🧍🏻♀️I forgot a little bit), learn tea art🫖🍵, drink tea and chat, and they also provide Hanfu for taking pictures🤳🤳. 😯😯After exploring the homestay, I found that there are bars, tea rooms, karaoke rooms, and game tables. It is very suitable for gatherings, team building, or personal stays! The owners of the B&B are two aunties (they are like sisters in their mentality👧). It feels like this is their retirement life. Every corner is decorated with great care💛💛. I am so envious🥰 Before leaving, they gave us rose flowers that they dried themselves🌸, which can be used to make tea

The guesthouse is located in Dengying Lane, spanning two very famous streets in Linhai: Ziyang Street and Chicheng Road. Just a few dozen steps to the left from the guesthouse is Ziyang Street, instantly making you feel like you're part of a touristy world; just a few dozen steps to the right is Chicheng Road, instantly making you feel like you're in the world of locals. It's a bit surreal. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with all the necessary amenities. Although located in a residential alley, it was very quiet at night, and I slept soundly. The owner was also very helpful, sending me many local food recommendations on WeChat. Although I had done a lot of research beforehand, it couldn't compare to the experience of a local! For breakfast, based on the owner's recommendation, I bought some meat buns and savory soy milk at a nearby steamed bun stall. I didn't expect the steamed buns from such a breakfast stall to be so flavorful and delicious. If I come to Linhai again, I will definitely stay here again; the experience of traveling between two worlds, one ancient and one modern, is truly amazing.

The overall experience of this stay is relatively general, and the actual experience is simply for your reference. The hotel is self-check-in, the store did not contact in advance to inform, call after the store to explain the process, there is room for improvement in service. The hotel is located upstairs in the egg white sheep tail store. As soon as you enter the room, you can smell the obvious smell of oily smoke and smoke. The ventilation effect is not ideal. The parking lot is some distance away from the homestay, there are few parking spaces, the parking coupon provided by the boss is not convenient to use, and finally pay for parking by yourself. The homestay does not include breakfast, and you need to go to Ziyang Street to solve it yourself. The location is about 10 minutes walk from the Taizhou Fucheng Wall, which is quite convenient. The shower ceiling for the bath is not very smooth and the experience is average. In the evening, the store downstairs will close the stalls, there will be aunt chats in the morning, garbage trucks will enter and exit, the noise is more obvious, and people with shallow sleep may be affected. The outdoor sky is always bright at night, which also affects the rest a little. Overall, the location is acceptable, but health, noise, service and supporting details need to be improved.

We were traveling from Shanghai to Linhai and booked the Orange Boutique Hotel online. The hotel was very nice and clean. Located in the city center, it was very convenient for visiting scenic spots and dining. The hotel was odorless, and the bedding and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was included, and there was a clothes drying rack on the bay window, which was very convenient for drying clothes. Highly recommended. Absolutely great reviews, and I'm grateful to the front desk lady for giving us a free upgrade. Thank you.

It's very warm, I like the layout very much, the room is clean and refreshing, and it's in the center of travel. I visited Tongling Lake on the left all the way to the train station, and East Lake on the right connecting to Jiangnan Ancient Town. There is also a famous snack street on Renmin Road, where everyone can join in the fun. The most important thing is the entire service. Although it is not a particularly large hotel, the service attitude and quality are really good. It's worth the price and experience, and I'm ready to stay another night.
