"Very poor experience. Beautiful setting and a lovely room, but unfortunately the experience was completely overshadowed by what happened during our stay. We arrived at 3pm and from then on only had food and drink provided by the hotel. After dining in the restaurant that evening, both my husband and I became seriously unwell at the same time with food poisoning. We were awake throughout the night and then confined to our room the entire following day, unable to attend breakfast, use the spa, or go to a wine tasting we had booked — effectively losing the whole purpose of our stay. What was most concerning was how this was handled. Despite explaining everything clearly, the hotel took no responsibility, offered no meaningful gesture of goodwill, and still charged us €120 for the meal we believe caused the illness. While the surroundings and accommodation are undeniably nice, the lack of care and accountability was extremely disappointing. Sadly, because of this, we would not return."

All the rooms were very comfortable, spacious and with modern and comfortable beds. The property produce the own wine, that you can taste during the meals, and is very good. "Very beautiful, stylish, and modern! A case where reality exceeded expectations! The view from the room is stunning! It's a shame there were no robes or slippers in the room, even though they were advertised. Breakfast is brought to your room (bread, pancakes, croissants, and various toppings, coffee, and freshly squeezed juice). However, it's very strange that for two guests, they only served three slices of cheese and ham—apparently one each—and then whoever had the time ate it..."

"This is a very individual property with a lot of interesting history. It is in a wonderful location by the river and has a lot of interesting rooms and building features. The dining room in particular has a very grand feel. The staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed as part of a cycling group, and the location gives great access to a wonderfully attractive area."
