Nice resort with good food and great spa. Staff are really welcoming particularly Demeke. On your next visit to Bahirdar, do not forget to stop by Kuriftu. The Tana lake view is amazing and the food is delicious. I would like to visit the other Kuriftus

Great hotel resort in the beautiful city of bahir dar. Very tranquille and peaceful relaxing swimming pool. Great view of Lake Tana.The cuisine is very good ,with lots of variety of homemade juices .The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. In all a great escape from the buzy town center.i recommend it.Not forgetting the staff who are very helpful and welcoming. will definitely be back for another holiday..

Kuriftu Bahir Dar blew me away. The lake views are stunning, the rooms are cozy and beautifully designed, and the whole vibe is just calm and relaxing. The staff were super friendly and made me feel at home right away. I also had one of the best massages ever at their spa. If you’re ever in Bahir Dar, this place is a must. I left feeling refreshed and already want to go back!

Very friendly and efficient staff. Stunning view overlooking Lake Tana and availability of boat trips. Comfortable and clean accommodation. Only downside was that they visit to the Blue Nile and waterfall wasn't possible due to external influences.

Probablement le meilleur hotel de BAHIR DAR, tout est beau, le service est vraiment au top et le SPA de trés bonne qualité.
Le diner en room service sur la terrasse de la chambre avec le feu de bois dans la cheminée est juste exceptionnel.

No internet, better options in Bahir Dar
No internet available, mice in our room, poor service. There are better options in Bahir Dar - go to the Blue Nile for ease of vacation, kuriftu is good only if you want to disconnect from the world completely.

A pleasant stay
Our stay was pleasant. The hotel has a Flint Stone feeling.
Clean, Quiet, Relaxing, staff are attentive.
Pro: The lake view, central and safe location, the free MASSAGE is priceless, Clean and eco-friendly rooms, free airport shuttle, free breakfast
Cons: Wifi was nonexistent. None of us were able to respond to our work emails, very irritating. The pool is dirty green/ algae (We had children who wanted to swim), restaurant food is 5/10, food service takes at least an hour or more to be served even for the simplest cup of tea and the food is not that good. Our group of 11 split and went to an outside restaurant after a couple of days of unpleasant experience, when we return from lunch the other half is still waiting for their order. The room key is single if you are couple.

This is a spectacular resort. The grounds are beautiful. Very clean lovely gardens. Beautiful rooms. The views of Lake Tana are - especially at sunrise - are brilliant. The staff is fantastic. Proactive and super kind. We wanted for nothing. If you are in Bahir Dar definitely stay here.
