The Badian Resort is best for the secluded getaway or just a quiet rest. You must get yourself by taxi or other vehicle to their pick-up pier where you be greeted by someone from their security team. He will verify you are expected and call one of their speedy water taxis and in 5 minutes you will arrive on the island where you will be met by one of their friendly staff. I was given a welcome flower to wear. I was quickly checked in, then personally escorted to my cabana. The room was very attractive, clean, safe, well laid out, quiet, roomy, and comfortable. Note: the room (my room) had neither teIevision nor phone - which was fine by me. WiFi was great. Cellular was zero. Yes, this is secluded. I arrived too late to use their pool, which closes at 5pm. Had a great dinner there with a large selection to order from. Breakfast was good, but not as good as dinner. The Badian’s grounds are fairly large. There didn’t seem to be other businesses or places to go on this island, so the focus is the resort.
I liked it very much and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking a laid back experience.

I booked a car from the airport to the hotel, which takes four hours and costs 5,000 pesos. If we stop to pick someone up on the way, we have to pay an extra 4,800 pesos. The extra distance is only ten minutes. What's even funnier is that they asked me to pay the fare first before I could make the reservation. I booked a room for two nights and needed to use the car, but you told me I had to pay first? ? ? Are you afraid that I will run away and not live in the room? ? ? The room only has two bottles of mineral water for free every day. If you want more, you have to pay. Is it funny? ? ? A tropical island room costs more than 1,000 yuan a day, but only two bottles of mineral water are given. It takes about 20 minutes to go to the mountain to trace the river. The car costs 3,800 pesos, but we found a travel agency and two motorcycles, and it only costs 300 pesos for a round trip. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the hotel, and the mosquito control is very poor. The above problems show that it is entirely the positioning of the hotel management that is problematic. This place was stunning and was a beautiful get away vacation. The staff is very friendly and professional and the place is well looked after!
The only negative thing is that the restaurant/ food is quite expensive.
