"Sparkling clean hotel, lovely and attentive staff, excellent food. The views from the balconies are lovely, as well. We came to recover from jet lag, though many people come to hike the area and swim in the bath waters. The food was a highlight. Each day the menu changes. We went in summer and the German food was the lightest I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel is centrally located in Badenweiler in a quiet location. The reception was friendly, the room was nice, the bathroom had a large shower, and the bed was very comfortable. Parking is satisfactory; there are only a few spaces in front of the hotel, but alternative spaces are available. The breakfast was delicious with a good selection and friendly staff. The so-called spa area is a negative and disappointing feature. There are far too few loungers available for the number of rooms. The indoor pool and saunas are much too small, and additional alternative saunas are only available for an additional charge. The bar is okay but overpriced. Overall, the price/performance ratio is not good."

"The hotel is managed as 4*superor. In fact, much corresponds to a 4*superor... but unfortunately not everything. Dinner is good but extensive. You have always the choice between 2 main gangs.. Sometimes the fish is missing, then the vegetarian. At this price category of hotel we are used to having the choice between meat /Fisch/Vegetarisch. The breakfast buffet is rich but what is mainly missing are fresh pressed juices, a larger selection of yoghurt, fresh egg food instead of a sticking mirror egg and a whirlpool in a heat box, in addition, no whole fruit at the buffet. The atmosphere of the bar and dining rooms, as well as the equipment of the rooms seems to me have come somewhat into the years. The staff is friendly, but unfortunately sometimes overloaded. The location of the hotel is good but various renovations would not be bad. We arrived Sunday, Tuesday the swimming pool and sauna were out of operation, bad if you booked just a short trip. The rooms are usually cleaned, in the sense of sustainability, only every 2 days, is also OK for me. But that after 4 nights I still had the same kiss reference, I found something limited, especially when he was polluted (I noticed it because I had sweet spots on it from the first night and that were still to the end) In the whole we liked the stay but we had a little more expected from a "relais et châteaux" conclusion, we had a nice stay but different has disturbed us at a 4*superior hotel"
