"Loved the location of this splendid hotel and the old world charm, Many of the rooms with balconies are on the shady side of the hotel. The room was spacious with a king-size bed. The room had a small balcony overlooking the historic Baden casino and park. There is a magnificent stained glass window in the beautiful Jugendstil breakfast room. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of fruit juices, cereals, pastries, cold cuts, scrambled eggs and bacon and even cake. This hotel would have rated 5 stars except for a number of short-comings; No air conditioning in the rooms (fan was provided on request) Mattresses are saggy and need to be replaced Towels are VERY thin and no small face towels No towel rails in the bathroom (two tiny hooks on the back of the door) Shower cap and vanity packs but no hard soap just weak liquid soaps Shower is combined with a deep bathtub Moldy grout in the shower tiles No kettle in the room and no tea bags, just environmentally-unfriendly coffee pods Bathroom would look better without a large orange mural of a roulette wheel Table and chairs on balcony had not been cleaned."

"Since the change of management in November 2025, I've really enjoyed coming back to Motel Baden. The new management is truly dedicated to restoring the place to its former glory. The breakfast is simply fantastic and leaves nothing to be desired, the rooms are spotlessly clean, the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive, and the value for money is incredible. I would recommend Motel Baden to anyone looking for good, yet affordable accommodation."

"This is a perfect base to discover Baden & the surrounding area; The owner,Horst was exceptionally welcoming, & made the time to sit down with us & give us inside information on the best things to do in Baden & Vienna - through him we discovered the joys of the Austrian heurigen! The apartment itself is beautiful ( the chandeliers! ) ,& well equipped - 1st time on our trip we had an iron & ironing board, for example - & there is even a herb garden to help at dinner time. It is on a quiet street in easy walking distance from the station & the town centre,& has a nice sunny garden area to sit out in. Beds are comfy, & the shower is a good one! I Hope to return very soon!"
