"A no-frills hotel, but with everything you really need to enjoy your stay. 100% recommended. It's a 10-minute walk from the center and there's easy free parking nearby. The beds are very comfortable and have two types of pillows, one firmer and one softer, so a good night's sleep is guaranteed. At reception, guests have free access to a water machine and a coffee machine, as well as complimentary tea. The entire hotel is very new and everything is in perfect condition."

"Fantastic Parador in the heart of Mérida. It's spacious and has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay: a swimming pool, sauna, gym, a well-run café, a lovely patio for drinks, and the Roman Theatre is just a fifteen-minute walk away. Parking is convenient, although, as is often the case, a bit pricey. The large rooms overlook the pool; my only suggestion would be to renovate the bathrooms. For me, it's a ten out of ten; I loved it."

"Good location in the centre of town. But oh dear, No English spoken by any of the reception staff. When we booked in I immediately went to reception to try and change the room as the aircon was leaking and the room smelled badly of cig smoke, and had a full ashtray. Unfortunately, as no one spoke English, nothing got sorted and we had to stay in that room. Not good. The next morning, in the restaurant one of the staff spoke English and I mentioned the problems. He went to reception had a conversation and came back and told me I was wrong, as there is no smoking in the rooms. "
