The room we stayed on the top floor was very large. The hotel was a 3-minute walk from the train station, but it required an uphill climb. If the trolley suitcase was heavy, it would take a little effort. There is an elevator in the hotel. A very beautiful hotel with a good environment. There is a public kitchen. There is no breakfast, but there are cafes where you can have breakfast nearby. Overall, it is very convenient.

What a gem of a hotel! We chose the budget option—room 17 on the top floor—and were pleasantly surprised. It was very clean and spacious, with two beds, a bathtub and a shower, and even two balconies! On the ground floor, there are coffee machines, a selection of teas, cocoa, milk, and other options, along with a fridge and a lovely self-catering dining area. The garden is large and beautiful, filled with a variety of plants—truly an oasis in the city centre! I felt genuinely rested after a full day of walking and would gladly come back if I ever visit Bad Ischl again.

Trotz Reservierungsbestätigung haben wir kein Zimmer bekommen! Rezeptionist meinte darauf nur: “Es ist so viel los, es ist einfach kein Zimmer mehr frei!”. Komplett unkooperativ und unhöflich, sowohl die Mitarbeiter als auch der Chef. Wir mussten dann ein anderes Hotel suchen! Dieses Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen!!!

Perfect location near the train station in a beautiful garden, friendly and helpful owner! Particularly beautiful flowers inside and out. Shared kitchen very positive - absolutely recommended for spending lovely days in Bad Ischl!
