"The hotel is perfectly located, but breakfast isn't included; it's only available à la carte, which is expensive and not very good. Certainly not worth the price. The same goes for the dinner menu: very limited choices, overpriced, and truly mediocre. It's a shame because the restaurant has an extraordinary view, but it gives the impression that they're not making any effort because of it. Food is also an important part of a hotel experience. We went out for dinner in town, but not for breakfast. We won't be returning."

"It was an enjoyable trip overall. The only two issues I had was 1. My unit with the jacuzzi had some wear, seems like there was a leak because there’s sealant on all corners throughout the room. 2. The couples massage was nice!! I asked for tension/deep tissue but didn’t get that. It was a bit light and skipped front upper body area."

"Extremely overpriced for what they provide, hotel pictures show it better than what it really is. Hotel is 25 minutes walk away from the centre. The hotel is ship containers built as hotel rooms which are much smaller than in the pictures. The walls have no insulation so you can hear everything from surrounding rooms at all times. Staff does not speak english but can be helpful with google translate. Breakfast is very poor, cornflakes filter coffee and ham and cheese sandwiches, there is a nespresso coffee machine but that is not included in the breakfast you paid for. The water shown in the pictures is very shallow and you can barely swim there. Renting a kayak is not included and has an extra charge. 3 star accomodation at best."

The Yak Lake House - Hostal ★★★

"Yak was ok. The location was great, close to town and had a nice outdoor area overlooking the water, and they had some nice activities. However, the dorm and facilities were not adequate to accommodate the number of people in the room. There was one moldy bathroom with limited hot water to accommodate the 8-person dorm, an overflowing trash and hardly any space. They're known for their weekly Wednesday night EDM dance party, so if that's not you're thing and you don't want crazy loud music blasting at you until 2 a.m., pick a difference place or a different day. Furthermore, considering the lagoon is shut down on Wednesdays, the party should be held on TUESDAYS to make it easier for people who want to begin their days early when the lake re-opens on Thursdays."
