Pu Luong Natura

Good place! Rooms need a little refurbishing and the staff needs to improve English...

From all the homestays we saw around pu luong, we were happy we chose ours. View was amazing, staff always trying to help you and facilities looked good for a homestay. Could be better insulation for winter, just bring warm clothes.

We were concerned about the recent mixed reviews but based on our experience find them hard to understand. We were two families traveling with 10 people total and had absolutely no complaints about the cleanliness of any of the 6 rooms we booked. We heard no construction during our two night stay. The views from our rooms and the pool were spectacular and relaxing. The pool is naturally fed so it is not going to look like your chlorinated pool at home but that was a plus. It was a refreshing way to cool off after a day of travel and/or trekking. We personally spent most of our two weeks in cities so having a place to relax and be together in the evening with friends and family was quite welcome. Is this the place to come expecting a Caribbean style resort or Michelin quality food...of course not. It is however a wonderful way to experience the Vietnam countryside. I would recommend it without hesitation and would be happy to return.

PuLuong Natura – stay away! My wife and I stayed 2 nights, and the only positive was the stunning view. The pool was dirty and clearly not cleaned. The staff speaks no English, making communication impossible. The restaurant food was awful, nothing like the delicious Vietnamese cuisine we had elsewhere — most guests went out to eat. No evening activities. Dirty towels, dusty room, no basics like hair conditioner, minibar, or TV. Broken tiles in the shower. The “double” bed was two singles pushed together — very uncomfortable. Terrible pillows. Paper-thin walls, you hear everything. Starting at 6:30 a.m., we were woken by construction noise. No reception or even a phone at night. Unhelpful staff. Laundry was returned like a sack of potatoes, unfolded and messy. Huge spider in the bathroom! The area is poorly lit at night — dangerous to walk back to the room. The whole place feels neglected, with broken chairs and beds around.

nice friendly helful dedicated hotel staff. They helped us to arrange a local tour guide to Kho Muong and Ban Huou waterfall . Mr Kien the hotel manager talked and provided us with lots of useful information about the Thai ethnic group people living in Pu Luong and their culture . Swimming pool's amazing with great view of rice field and mountain . Excellent breakfast with very good teas and coffee. The rooms were very clean comfortable and with amazing view of rice terraces. We enjoyed our stay here very much . Thank for your great service and the best hospitality. We will definitely come here again

The hotel is very nicely located with beautiful views of the rice fields , the grounds are nicely kept with two pools an nice gardens with trees and orchids since the hotel is in the nature you have a restaurant but you have to order in advance until 6pm. The meals were tasty, they also have vegetarian menu. Most of the staff doesn’t speak any English and unfortunately not very friendly and helpful. I don’t recommend to take a room on the second floor since there are only very steep stairs not intended for older people.
