"◆Room-only plan used◆ My mother, her two daughters, and I stayed together (4 people total). The unmanned check-in process was smooth. The entrance was beautiful, and the room was lovely. The bath was fantastic, with 24-hour free-flowing hot spring water! For meals, there's an alley right in front of the hotel with about 10 restaurants, so we had no trouble finding places to eat. When we returned from dinner, the staff were cleaning the entrance, and we appreciate that they kept it clean even late at night. We would like to use this hotel again next time."

"We stayed with our family of four. The meals were delicious every day. The white rice was also very tasty, and the menu changed every day. It's a bit disappointing that Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby. Also, the baths are not natural hot springs. I haven't stayed at other ryokans to compare, so I can't say for sure, but if you want to enjoy Japanese food for breakfast and dinner and stay at a ryokan, I think it's a good choice. Another good thing about this ryokan is that there are baths in the rooms, and there are baths in addition to the large communal bath."

"Located in the Awara onsen town, it is a relatively new onsen hotel. All rooms have a private onsen inside the room. We received very warm welcome from staff. And I notice that the staff ratio is quite high given the manpower shortage now in Japan. THis is also the first time that the check in process was done inside your room, not at front desk of in club lounge. Our suite is facing the man-made fish pond with a small porch. Our living room has a table and chairs for meals, not the Japanese style sitting on the floor. The bedroom ares is nice. Air conditioning control is separated for living room and bedroom. The public onsen is not particularly impressive since each room has its own private onsen. Hand made drinks are available in the lobby after checkin. Enjoying the good scene of the hotel fish pond garden with a drink on hand is marvellous. Both dinner and breakfast is served in the room so you do not need to out out. It has a high price tag and the service quality matches with such high price."

The hot springs and meals at the inn were delicious. It seemed a bit lonely that the staff were only men and Nepalese women, and there was no Japanese staff member among the landlady."

This one is not like that. The public bath is not very big to begin with, and it is really crowded to take a hot spring bath at night. We were probably the only guests on the day we checked in, and the cooked and grilled food was cold... Although they can be eaten cold, it was the first time I encountered these two dishes being cold... In addition, the public area of the hotel was not very warm, and only the pot food, rice, and snacks were hot, so it was not very comfortable to eat the first half cold. The portion and taste are pretty satisfactory. The air conditioner in the room is quite noisy. Other aspects such as hygiene and environment are okay. If you take half board, 650 yuan per person is acceptable."
