Catalina Island Seacrest Inn

I am writing a review after giving the hotel a chance to respond. No response so here it is. I've stayed here a number of times. My only real complaint this time was that the jets for the warm tub advertised did not work at all. Also, the fridge seemed warm, and I wasn't sure if it was working properly. This was for the "Loft Room". If I was staying longer, I would have went to management about it, but I was just there for one night. Usually, the hotel has been better. They need to more on top of things. The hotel room is too pricey for the desired amenities not to be functional. I will probably look for somewhere else next time.

Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a larger room with a view on the third floor. The room was very clean and in good repair. It included a large Jacuzzi tub, a double shower, and a pretty full kitchen. Now for the issues. The observation deck above us was not available due to construction on it and the stairs leading to it. The work did not start until after 8am, but along with general construction noise, it did sound like they dropped an occasional anvil on our ceiling. There was no ice available on the property and the micro-fridge in the room did not have an ice tray. (Warm margaritas just don't work.) The staff was friendly and I would recommend staying there, I'm sure our issues have been ironed out by now.

We stayed here for my boyfriend's 30th birthday and had the best time. The room was clean and spacious, we had a lovely time hanging out on the rooftop patio, and Michael at the front desk was so helpful and very kind! We really enjoyed our time and are excited to come back and stay at the Seacrest Inn again in the future. The location is ideal as it is close to the water and 2 blocks from the Vons! It is also next to NDMK which is our favorite place to eat at in Catalina. They offer beach towels for your use as well! The room we stayed in (Garden Room 2) had a large spa tub and AC which made for a super comfortable stay. Thank you!!

The property was very wholesome, relaxing, and in an excellent location. My biggest complaint was the construction going on. They were generous at starting well past 9am, but we were unable to truly relax while being in our room. We anticipated taking a day during our trip to fully enjoy the Inn, but the construction wasn't allowing it! We will definitely be booking here again, but full disclosure ahead of time would be much better.

When we got to the hotel they had upgraded us to the suite. It was a beautiful room with a bathtub. We very much enjoyed our stay :) Staff was very friendly.

Location. AMAZING. Check in process was super easy. Was given a tour of our room personally by the receptionist. Pet friendly. So very nice of them to allow us to bring our fur babies. We will be back. Room was #3 the seashell. Oh wow was it nice. Bottom floor right next to a nice lounge area. Bed was super comfy. TV was ok as a streaming TV until everyone else decided to stream too and then nobody could watch anything. Good thing we weren't in room long enough to watch. Bathroom was wonderful and the amenities were quite spacious. Very comfortable and easy to get around in the morning or during the night. The jacuzzi bathtub was amazing and I got a massage on my tired feet in here that I'll never forget. If you use the shower, be careful and use the mat as the tub can be slippery. The air conditioner is wonderful and keeps the room comfy. There is a fan in the room that was a life saver. Finally, there is a "fireplace" that's basically a flickering light that provides ambiance. And, it makes a noise so at night we turned it off because it kept us up. Only recommendation would be bring your own slippers as hardwood and tile floors can be unforgiving on tired feet. Finally, upon checking out, it was super easy. We just gave our keys back and the manager thanked us for our stay. We absolutely loved our stay here. very personable and it felt personal like we were staying with our aunt or something. We absolutely loved it and hope to come again some time.
