Glenmore Plaza Hotel

The Con's: Our room smelled horribly musty #208. There was no drain cover in the bathroom sink,,, carpet felt sticky to the bare foot. Air conditioner nor heat worked. Iron but no ironing board... jacuzzi tub was not clean and had hair from prior guest. Shower water unavoidably spews all over the floor which makes it slippery on marble tile floor. View ..ah non existent could see the bldg. next door paint peeling bars on window. I did not complain while we were there because my sweet husband made all the arrangements.. I just lost my mom and he wanted to do something for me to get my mind off her loss, but, it was not a good experience and a lot of men just don't want to make waves. But, when I asked how much he paid for the room $287 I got quiet. Yet, I felt compelled to express my dissapointment. He won't know but you will. Make arragements elsewhere. We stopped at the Continental breakfast and the one guest was putting his hands into the bagel station as he was touching each to see which one he wanted..which immediately was enough for me. (the tongs were right there, not the hotels fault) I don't wish to go on .. but when paying almost $300. a night I expect a better experience. The pros: the location was central. enjoyed dinner at the Bluewater Avalon, Breakfast at the Buffalo Nickel.
