Catalina Courtyard Suites

We had an AMAZING trip . This is a true Catalina experience. The staff is accommodating and so friendly. We stayed in the Penthouse during Easter weekend. We woke to the town bells and amazing views. Honestly we had a hard time leaving! You are steps away from the main street and beach yet it’s quiet and relaxing. It’s a perfect location. We can’t wait to go back. Everything is immaculate and very comfortable with a quiet courtyard to enjoy a morning coffee. Thank you thank you! We will be back.

5 Stars for the Catalina Courtyard Suites Avalon! We had a courtyard room and loved the vibe and beautiful decor of the courtyard, which includes a fire pit. Very nice to sit and have morning coffee or to sit outside in the evening. Our room was very clean, had a king-sized bed, and a beautiful jetted tub. The location is great and walkable to everything. Jacob went above and beyond after a very stressful time realizing I had left my purse on the Ferry. He was just getting ready to leave but quickly made some phone calls and personally went and retrieved my purse. He was so kind and really saved the day! There was also a complimentary bottle of wine in our room for our anniversary. Customer service was outstanding. Can't say enough about this hotel - a definite must-stay! Our top choice to stay for a return visit to Avalon.

Wonderful hotel with a chill vibe and convenient walk to everything! Our room accommodated my husband, daughter, and myself with plenty of room to spare. Two bathrooms made it extra easy to prepare for the fun. We would definitely return.

Staff was very friendly. Or bathroom was amazing. Nice quiet place. Love the patio area, I didn't use it because we were only they once night but would of we come for a longer time. Location was nice, not in the center of town so less traffic.

Unfortunately, this property did not offer a restful experience. The bed and mattress produced distracting creaks with every movement, and the air conditioning unit emitted pulsing noises that persisted even when the unit was turned off. The lack of sound insulation was a major issue; hollow doors meant that conversations from the courtyard and even the front desk's speakerphone calls were clearly audible within the room. Furthermore, the thin windows failed to block out significant street noise, making it impossible to relax or take a nap.

Check-in was convenient and we didn’t have to wait long for our room to be ready, especially because we arrived early. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
