The room was decent, but it was too noisy. Several pubs near the hotel were noisy until 2 o'clock and I couldn't sleep. Although the hotel provided earplugs and sleep-aid tea, they were not very effective. The breakfast is really average, and there is not much choice in the set menu. Homelessness is a problem near the hotel.

This hotel in Austin is really good. The room area is much larger than that of European hotels. The accommodation experience is okay. You can consider staying next time.

The stay was great. It was a bit noisy at night from the bar across the street. But it didn't bother me too much. The rooftop pool was fantastic!

Note that you need to drive into the Valet parking area when you arrive as there is no on street parking, no reception area parking and no real signage stating that you have arrived at the Hotel. The room at Canopy by Hilton in downtown Austin was clean and comfortable. The beds were firm and comfortable although the bed covers are getting old and not too comfortable in themselves. The Air Conditioning is Amazingly Quiet, the best I have ever experienced in a Hotel. Beware, the bottled water is $8 each. This makes you question using everything else provided in the room. No actual channels on the TV, just apps to choose from. I didn’t bother. The lobby ‘Canopy Central’ - central space for guests is very well worn, I ime for a refresh. Guest Services [staff] were fine if they weren’t asked anything unexpected. When asked about an excessive charge to my credit card, they had no idea and told me they were unable to even tell me what the total charges were for the previous night. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We found it interesting that there are earplugs provided for every room until afternoon arrived and the music from the clubs and bars that surround the hotel started up. Glad we had the earplugs!!

Horrible. This hotel is surround by bars. How could the walls in a hotel be so thin? Awful. The room came with earplugs and a noise machine…so they knew it was going to be loud. When we asked to switch rooms we were told they were fully booked. It was a Sunday…so the excuse was doubtful to me. Peel and stick carpet squares placed like runners in the halls left swaths of bare concrete and bare concrete as flooring in the bathroom. The entire hotel gave “we ran out of money to finish this place… hope you don’t notice” vibes. No cold water, really. The pool was murky. If we had had a quiet night sleep, we might have been able to look overlook all the other stuff. They have no business booking room 307.

No filtered water options on our floor or the next below us. Went to the restaurant for water. AC had issues. They sent someone up to resolve it but it seems like he just flipped an override to make it cooler. Air felt damp. Clean room. Overall a nice stay.
