Our stay at Commodore Perry Estate was truly unforgettable. We got engaged there, and it was the perfect setting—peaceful, elegant, and timeless. The estate feels like a hidden escape from Austin, surrounded by beauty and calm. A special thank you to Audra Everett, Director of Guest Services, who made everything seamless from planning through our stay. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful, ensuring every detail was perfect. The staff were exceptional, the rooms stunning, and the food at Lutie’s was incredible. Commodore Perry isn’t just a hotel—it’s an experience that transports you far beyond the city. We can’t wait to return.

My daughters and I chose this resort in Austin because of the Auberge reputation for great service. That was not our experience overall, although there were some exceptions. The Inn’s staff was friendly enough but I would not say that we were made to feel special or felt like the service matched the price tag. Gorgeous resort, but don’t go if you are gluten-free. If that’s not an issue, their pastry chef is fabulous! Just don’t expect the staff to remember your name or to ask about your day.

Looks like a way more special resort than it is in person. The rooms are not up to par for what they charge. The bathrooms in the rooms have terrible lighting. The front desk at night was unmanned and no room service. Called for over 5minutes from the in room phone to nobody answering the phones so i had to get dressed to go to the lobby to find my uber eats ordered was delivered on the counter but no employee was present. (mind you the hotel recommended us to order uber eats as they have no room service). A five star hotel that anyone can walk in to a lobby without an employee there does not feel safe by any means. While our car was in the valet it got hit by another car driving through the property, while it is not directly their fault but its not nice that a high end establishment does not park cars somewhere safe enough to not get hit by another car. I asked if the hotel would cover it and the on site manager said he did not know. I told him the car got hit yesterday, dont you think that the hotel should have already reached out to me before I check out to let me know what happens rather than the customer having to reach out to find out the answer. The property by no means gives off a five star hotel that charges 1750 a night for a room. There is absolutely no personalized service. The restaurant has an extremely rude waitress that rolls her eyes at customers and points her finger at them. Truly underwhelming in every sense. Seeing the photos online you feel like it will be magical but trust me once you go you will see it does not match the vibes you are expecting.

Staying at the Commodore Perry Estate was well worth every single penny spent. From the customer service to the ambience and setting of the estate, I cannot put into words how perfect of a weekend getaway it was to spend with my husband for our good friend’s wedding. The convenience's of staying at the venue of our friends wedding was top-tier. The grounds were beautiful to walk. Would love to visit again
