Some of the friendliest most accommodating staff at both the AC and the adjoining Otis hotel. Any issue was taken care of, any reasonable request was granted. Prete was super friendly and helpful as were all the desk folks. Rooms were clean. View was terrible - back of a building and dumpsters. Gym was meh. Acre 41 restaurant and bar was good. Bartenders made high level drinks. Great bourbon selection. Staff including the valets were always offering cold water. We stayed for college move in and the staff made a high stress situation so much better. Good location - near UT campus too. Five stars for the consistent effort.

This would have been a 4-5 star review. Good location, very friendly staff, cool restaurant and bar with great ambience. Parking was close and easy. Here’s where the hotel loses me. The BATHROOM. It’s not even a separate room! The sink faces the bed, with a mirror between. It’s open to the room on both sides. The toilet has a sliding door, meaning it’s not completely closed. Meaning, any noise coming from that area is heard in the room. The shower opens directly into the open space. So much for humidity control. Oh, and in addition, the lighting by the mirror is a single overhead light that shines directly on top of your head. Really difficult for applying makeup. We’ve been married for decades and it was not enough privacy for us. I cannot imagine staying in this room with a friend or someone I don’t know well. So awkward.
