Toilet/closet not working Only one light in the room working

Everything was very nasty from the tub to the bed ice machines definitely didn't work couldn't even sleep perfectly

Awful experience. Advertised with a refrigerator, hair dryer, coffee machine, and toiletries, none existed. Did not even have soap in room. Was supposed to be a king bed and got 2 full beds...not clean sheets. Toilet took 5 tries to flush. Loud people all night long.

Baymont by Wyndham Austin University Area Stay Details: October 16 – 20, 2025 (U.S. Grand Prix weekend) I booked a four-night stay during the U.S. Grand Prix and experienced unacceptable issues from check-in to check-out. Despite reporting them repeatedly, nothing was resolved. Key Issues During Stay: Hazardous Mold: Noticed extensive black mold on the plastic curtain behind the AC unit on the first night. No Maid Service: Our room was never serviced over the entire four-night stay. Lack of Essentials: I had to visit the front desk four different times just to get towels. Non-Functioning Amenities: The Wi-Fi was out for most of the stay, and the ice maker was intentionally turned off and never fixed. Management and Follow-Up Failures: I spoke to at least four different employees about the mold, service, and amenities. Every time, I was told only the manager, Shane Patel, could help. I was unable to speak to Shane Patel over the entire weekend, as he was "not in." I checked out and was promised Shane would call me in 1-2 days. When I finally called back a week later, I spoke to an employee named "Julli T." who admitted Shane no longer worked there (and hadn't for a month). "Julli T." refused to issue any refund, claiming the lack of service was "standard." Resolution: I was forced to dispute the entire charge with my credit card provider. I highly recommend avoiding this hotel. The combination of health hazards (mold), total lack of service, and deceptive, unavailable management is appalling. I have pictures of the mold ready for posting.

Great, comfortable room in a convenient area. The breakfast was completely unstocked (no bread of any type, no butter, milk was empty, no yogurt); room had zero towels (no bath towel, washcloth, floor mat, etc.). Quite disappointing for a Wyndham property.

I would not recommend staying here. The area was very sketchy and the facilities were very worn down, the room I stayed in had various issues including: broken mirror, dirty socks from previous tenant, stains on the sheets and pillows, amongst other cosmetic faults. The staff members were nice, however you get what you pay for.
