The location is very good, right by the Colorado River. Watching bats on the bridge in the evening is a great view of the Colorado River in Austin. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, with new facilities.

Great stay great staff great new looks in the rooms and all floors! Very clean and attractive. After arriving and being told that the overnight fee for self-parking would be $52 dollars!!, the visit was already off to a poor start. Nothing says "Eff You" to a guest like being price-gouged by an unjustified and completely usurious fee right after their first interaction with a property. This is Texas, mind you, the land of the free; not NYC, Chicago or Boston where you're expected to pay those kinds of fees. We were assigned a renovated room, which was clean but very boring. I was disappointed to see that the automatic door jamb switch for the closet was broken (already?) and it was impossible to turn off the light. The light coming from the closet kept me up a large portion of the night. And finally the windows are an abomination. There's at least a year's worth of crap smeared all over them with spider webs and dust obscuring everything. We paid for an upgraded lake-view corner room but struggled to see anything through the mess. It's embarrassing and a complete own-goal by the hotel management. I understand that the hotel is being renovated, but what does that have to do with regular maintenance on the part of the hotel that's not being dismantled? It's super annoying.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The customer service/management was outstanding—specially thankful for Eli and Jeff who made our families’ stay extra special! The location is ideal—close to everything, with restaurants, shops, and attractions just a short walk or drive away. We rented a boat during sunset and it was magical!! The rooms we were in were recently updated and looked fantastic—very clean, modern, and comfortable. The rest of the hotel renovation will not be done till September but we personally did not have any issues with excessive noise. They are currently giving extra perks while renovation is ongoing which we truly appreciated! The only downside is the parking cost but overall, a great place to stay. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
