This was my first stop in Texas after a delayed flight from the uk Loved the decor and vibe of the place Had a room with balcony looking over the pool Used the restaurant for breakfast and dinner and the service there was great The reception didn't quite have the engaging presence you might expect but the guys on the front doors were very welcoming The location is great for all activities including bat watching

Priscilla was great! Friendly, interested, perfectly timed visits to the table!! Food was delicious! We had the fried avocado salad and spicy chicken sandwich. We wouldn't change a thing!

The hotel was the cleanest I have seen, staff was very friendly, decor was very unique. The food in this hotel was great no matter what time we went. Coffee bar in the hallway, great cookies in the early evening with other treats and drinks in the lobby was also a great touch. I will return to this hotel again!

We were very impressed with the Hotel ZaZa. Our balcony room was lovely with a separate lounge area. A minor gripe was that there was no bottled water in the room unless you paid $ 6 a bottle, which for a hotel of this standard we find unacceptable. On night 3 we received a turn down service which did include a small bottle of water, thus service however was patchy and only had it one out of four nights. The valet and car shuttle service were excellent and all the drivers very friendly and helpful All staff we encountered were lovely with the exception of the bar staff who we found unapproachable and surly In general the hotel was amazing

We have been travelling around the USA for 4 weeks and this was the best hotel we have stayed in, including some that were double the price. What stands out is the customer service, kindness and approachability of the staff that is clearly engrained in their culture. From the moment we arrived, apologetically but tired post a long flight, Aaliyah got us checked in early and provided us with details on the amenities and her must do list in Austin which we really appreciated. We requested a kettle for a tea at night - it was immediately brought to the room. Overnight I needed ibuprofen and realised the packet I brought was expired - we asked the front desk and they were happy to provide it. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The room was HUGE - and we actually paid for the smallest, cheapest room. The bathroom was also huge with amazing water pressure in the shower. The climate control in the room was perfection and allowed a peaceful and comfortable night sleep. The soft amenities such as towels, pillows and bedding weee luxurious and felt super expensive. We used the gym and the pool and both were fantastic. The location was great in downtown and we easily walked everywhere. I would implore anyone looking to come to Austin to stay at this hotel. Best sleep I’ve had!!
