I absolutely love this hotel! From the moment I arrived, everything about the Austin Marriott South felt warm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. The property itself is stunning, but what really stood out was the M Club Lounge — it’s truly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. While I was a bit disappointed that my last two upgrades didn’t result in an upgraded room, I must say the room I stayed in was still very nice and comfortable. The staff throughout the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly, always going out of their way to make sure guests were taken care of. The restaurant on-site was another highlight. The food was delicious, and our server Dylan provided excellent service — attentive, professional, and personable. Since I was in town attending a conference, I spent most of my downtime relaxing in the M Club Lounge. The atmosphere was great, and Mary, the lovely attendant in the lounge, made the experience even better with her sweet and helpful nature. I was so impressed with the breakfast in the M Club that I asked to speak with the chef. The presentation and quality of the food were among the best I’ve ever had in any M Club. The manager kindly shared that the sous chef, Rodrigo, was responsible for preparing it — and I have to say, he did a phenomenal job! I will definitely be staying here again. I’d especially love to visit during the holidays — I can tell this hotel takes great pride in its care and service. Overall, it was an amazing experience and one I won’t forget.
