Baymont by Wyndham Austin University Area

The room that gave me was extremely dirty and it was super unsafe. I decided not to stay and leave the hotel right away as it felt like the room was not in use foe ages. The front desk person apologized, took my number and said he will refund my payment. It has been a week they haven’t responded. Very unprofessional behavior. Highly disappointed

Never again. Website says hot breakfast. They offer toast or cereal along with a few fruits for breakfast. AC not in good working order. Floor warped and nasty. Pool closed before dark. Person at the desk barely spoke English and barely got off of his own personal call to answer my questions. I’ve machine on my floor was not working, so I had to go downstairs to use theirs.

In the room I stayed in, there appeared to be mold in the bathroom. The counter top didn't look thoroughly cleaned. The front door warped because it isn't able to close all the way without the additional lock.

Check in was a bit of a mess. Agent was short and rude. Had to call maintenance about plumbing. No hot breakfast was available all 5 mornings we were there. Coffee was not great in lobby but also often ran out and agent did not attempt to brew more. Housekeeping did not come for 3 out of the 4 days we stayed. Asked for more towels on day 3 and got them along with attitude and excuses. Parking is very limited. Advised to use handicapped spaces “for convenience.” No shade/umbrellas in pool area at all.

Roaches and noise Horrible stay. First "non-smoking " room smelled like ****. So changed rooms and one of the locks was broken, then handle fell off shower, then roaches crawling around on the floor and when I saw a roach on the bed, i packed up and left but could get any refund, not even a partial refund. never again!! On top of that the noise people were making outside until 3 am made it impossible to sleep.
