I recently relocated to Denver for my job and was excited to explore the city while searching for an apartment. During this transition, I chose to stay at HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply unsettling and highly unprofessional. Approximately 30 minutes after checking in, while I was resting in my room, a woman, later identified as Shane, the GM—entered without knocking or announcing herself. Ironically, it was the same person I had just made eye contact with in the hallway while dragging three large suitcases to my room. When I addressed the intrusion, she simply stated she was “just doing her job” and offered no apology. This left me feeling extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. I immediately reported the incident to the front desk, expressed my concerns, and requested to cancel my booking. I also asked for a full refund given the circumstances. Although I was told I could be moved to another room, this did nothing to rebuild the trust that had been broken or restore my sense of security. Attempts by *******, your business partner, to follow up were ignored, calls and emails went unanswered. When I returned to the property in person to speak with someone directly, Shane was combative and unprofessional, displaying a confrontational attitude and providing no clear explanation of the refund policy. I understand that issues can arise, but basic safety, respect, and professionalism should never be compromised. Thankfully, after multiple follow-ups, ******* issued a full refund, including the insurance amount. Given this experience, I would NOT recommend this location to friends, family, or coworkers. I care deeply about their safety and well-being.

The staff members were very helpful and friendly. The night management woman was very professional, flexible with my booking and found a room for us that fit our needs for our stay. I only wish I could add her name to my review because she deserves credit for being a valuable employee and hostess. You know who you are... Thank you for your hospitality and we hope to see you again soon...

The room was being pumped with cigarette smoke all night long. It reeked in there. No shampoo or conditioner? Floor was dirty. Yuck

Worse stay ever
Terrible!! Between the hours of 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. couldnt get any sleep because on top floor (we were on bottom floor room 140) their was banging and furniture moving as of some sort of renovation. And when we first check in had problem with TV remote attempted three time b efore finally got one that work and that one did not have a back cover. The table in the room had paint or some sort of stain on it. Never had any experience like this and will not make this mistake again. This was in the Denver/Aurora

Everything was super dirty, they didn't give me the room on time, there were animals and dirty and it smelled horrible, customer service horrible.

Room was an eyesore. Felt like bugs were crawling all over me. We couldn’t even stay here through the night and left 10 mins after being in the room. Stairs leading up to the floors were gross and looked like they just took a wet wipe to the room. Asked for a refund and haven’t even got a response.

a little sad
Almost every room had issues from heating and cooling, shower pressure or temperature, most of the tvs were full of static, no two rooms had the same channels, the wifi seemed to work better across the lot at the gas station. And the last room I booked felt like I was gonna fall through the floor and the flooring was warped and buckling in the bathroom. I would barely consider this a hotel more of a motel and lets not even talk about the random guys drinking in the stairwells every night as I was leaving for work.
