I returned to the motel because my first stay was so pleasant and hosts are just very warm and welcoming.My family circumstances are challenging and the hosts are very understanding and helpful. The motel is as expected for about a three-star but is lovely and clean. It is great to have the pool for a dip as well

This motel was a pleasant suprise. Rated as 3 star (we booked as other family were already booked to stay there) we wondered what we would be letting ourselves in for. The motel has recently changed hands and the new owners are working through the units and upgrading them. Both units our family were in were clean, modern, comfortable and excellent showers and beds. The Owners were friendly and welcoming. This will become our new affordable motel when staying in Auckland.

Location is convinient to our needs (not tourist spots) but it's easy parking to go in and out.
We don't mind that the place a bit run down as long as it's clean. This place is clean but using too much chemical and it smells too strong. Maybe air out the room before it's "ready" for guest

Although the tennis court is near & it’s not that quiet once they start their training, it’s great the Motel have blackout curtains because the flood lights from the tennis court are very bright, but they must have a certain time before they shut down, may not be the best place to stay if you are wanting to sleep in. But in saying that I loved it :) don’t be put off by what I have written.

Only complaint would be the shower, very difficult to regulate heat, water pressure not that great.Quiet location which is a bonus.
