DO NOT STAY HERE if you have been in the past and expect the same exceptionally cleanliness, attention to details, amenities and wonderful Customer Service because it no longer exists since the owners sold out. Rooms are no longer clean especially the floors, dispensers in showers do not work, limited toilet paper, cups and towels and you will now pay $4 for one muffin, no longer do they offer breakfast baskets!!! Lemon Bar waters down all drinks and caters to the locals NOT HOTEL GUESTS!!!! Been coming here for years but no more

What a charming fully renovated old Florida motel! Props to the folks who found it worth saving and invested. Room 110 handicapped was spacious and clean. Easy parking. This stay was one of the very rate hotel stays where both my husband and I were comfortable with the mattress. Restaurants and a coffee shop are a short distance away. Note that you do not have a view of the beach. We had a spacious patio area with outdoor chairs to enjoy a view of the pool, palm trees, and the breeze. Note to hotel: you may want to integrate into your cleaning cycle ceiling fan blades, and the lovely Adirondack chairs in your common area. Apparently the local birds like those chairs too. ;-)

It was good until it was horrible! Without telling us ahead of time, there was an obnoxiously loud party right outside our room. For 5 hours we had to endure booming music that never let up. So incredibly un-customer friendly. They didn’t care about the people who are paying to stay here. Very disappointed.

$517.94 Charge – Beware of Rigid Policies and No Response from Management I want to share a warning to other travelers about my recent experience with Seahorse Oceanfront Inn in Neptune Beach, FL , booked through *******. On June 21, 2025, I mistakenly reserved the wrong dates. I realized the error within minutes, immediately canceled, and rebooked for the correct dates. My family stayed at the hotel on the correct reservation — the mistaken one was never used. The hotel suffered no loss. Yet, I was still charged $517.94 for the unused booking. Worse, the Seahorse Oceanfront Inn has refused to respond to any of my direct outreach or to Expedia’s repeated attempts to contact them on my behalf. As a hardworking consumer, I find this treatment unacceptable. Mistakes corrected within minutes should not result in families paying hundreds of dollars for services never received. Unfortunately, this property hides behind a rigid “non-refundable” policy while ignoring all good-faith attempts to resolve the issue. If you are considering booking here — please beware. Until this property takes accountability and responds fairly to customers, I cannot recommend it. Families deserve better than being taken advantage of by policies that punish honest mistakes.

The location is wonderful and convenient. The actual facility is run down and smells a bit like mildew. Limited soap in the shower dispenser. Housekeeping did not come by the whole 3 days. WiFi was not functional. Limited towels. It was doable for a short trip, but I wouldn't pay regular hotel prices for it.

Room was not ready for 4pm check in. No manager around. Reserved 1st floor room but was told manager changed it to second floor. No explanation. My husband and I are in our 60's and this was very inconvenient. Room was smelly and bathroom had bugs. Grout missing all over bathroom. Toilet tank cover did not fit toilet (safety hazard) and remote control did not work. Won't be back.
