Days Inn by Wyndham Athens

Gross. Do not stay here. I wish I would have read other reviews before booking. Nasty. I feel like I need a course of antibiotics after staying there. Also, of you wanted to shower, you either got scalding hot water or cold. No in between. Not exaggerating. Burn marks/holes everywhere. Safety latch on door was broken. Front desk and housekeeping were really nice and doing their best with what they're given.

For the money I wasn't expecting the best. They didn't disappoint. For the money, i really cant complain too much. It is cheap. The room was dirty. We saw 2 cockroaches in the room. The beds are old cheap metal springs. They didnt even have fitted sheets. The toilet didn't refill, so we had to keep the lid off. The remote had tape holding the batteries in. Breakfast is a joke. Cereal and twinkies and coffee. All in all, its not the worst place Ive stayed at.

Difficult to find. Nice host. Vending empty. Three miles to nearest dining. Relatively quiet.

The staff at the hotel were great the essential appliances refrigerator, ac/heater, microwave and shower were on point but the wear and tear on the interior needs to be addressed.

Dirty room didn’t seem clean. Lots of noise outside in parking lot. People were loud in surrounding rooms. Pictures online were not the same as the building. Beds were terrible. Shower had cigarette burns all over tub.

This was the grossest hotel my family has ever stayed at. First, the room looked as if it hadn’t been dusted or swept in a long time. Then the toilet and shower didn’t work. Finally, in this room, there were dead bugs in the towels. My wife was livid at this point. I asked to move and the staff had me look at another room. The next room had bad water damage in the bathroom and the toilet was dirty and had not been cleaned, so I looked at another one.. the next room had a dead bug laying on top of the towels.. the lady working the desk just shrugged it off as if I was complaining too much and that I was overreacting because the bugs were dead.. the third room looked half way acceptable but by this time it was 11pm and I was ready to compromise. Later we found more bugs on the furniture and dead bugs in the bed I slept in. That night at 3am some tenants were so loud it woke all of us up. Consequently, our trip was ruined because we were all incredibly tired and couldn’t focus the next day plus we all had to nap before driving 4 hours home. This hotel is garbage, don’t waste your money. You’d be better off sleeping on your garage floor.
