Very limited English but service was good. The private big onsen was very good, but would have been even better if it was open air in the big private one because it got too stuffy inside.

It was such a happy schedule. I was especially grateful to the restaurant staff who spoke Korean well for taking care of me and being kind to me. If I have another chance to go to Atami, I will choose this hotel. Of course, I will think of that Korean-speaking staff!

The price is not cheap, but the hardware and software are top-notch and worth going again.

Great spa and dinner

We decided to stay at this inn because of the view of the ocean in front of us, the delicious seafood dishes, and the several hot springs. It was nice to be able to enjoy a leisurely soak in the hot springs in the morning and evening, and the family bath on the rooftop. For dinner, we had a banquet including luxurious sashimi in a private room. The breakfast was so luxurious that we couldn't finish the side dishes without having to ask for a second helping of rice! When we arrived, we chose our yukata and were shown to our room. There was a relaxing space in the lobby, and during happy hour, you can drink alcohol for a little cheaper. The staff members were rather casual in their service, but they gave us the necessary information, and we were able to relax in a well-cleaned room and enjoy delicious food and the hot springs, so we enjoyed our trip as a group of three girls. There were few tourist spots around, and walking around Ajiro Fishing Port in winter felt lonely. One dried fish shop was open. There was also a convenience store nearby. There was a local liquor store nearby, and if you go there, they will recommend some sake (^^)

I visited this inn for the first time because it was highly rated online and there were many good reviews. It is a long-established inn, so my wife and I were looking forward to it. The accommodation fee was a little high, but we splurged because it was the beginning of the year. However, it was not satisfactory. The room was not cleaned properly, and there was dust and hair everywhere, perhaps by coincidence. The bath was at a good temperature, and the private bath was free, and the availability could be checked in front of the elevator, so we were able to use it at the right time. The important thing is that the amount, taste, and presentation of the food were neither good nor bad. It depends on your taste, but I felt that it was a bit bland. As an additional option, we requested boiled golden-eyed snapper for two days because we were staying consecutive nights. On the second day, they changed it to a meat dish without any consultation. Why did they ask for a meat dish when we wanted to enjoy seafood? When we told them about it at check-out, they made gestures and attitudes as if they wanted us to pay quickly, without any apology. My wife and I have been in the service industry for a long time, but this was the first time I have seen a front desk staff with such an attitude. The accommodation fee and the content do not match. I have no complaints if it's about ¥10,000 to ¥15,000 for one night with two meals. If they call themselves a long-established inn, I would like them to study again what service and customer service are. I will never go again until I see improvements in the future.

I took a route bus from Atami Station, took a walk around Ajiro Onsen, and used it for a day trip bath. On the first floor there is an indoor bath and an open-air bath, so it was nice to be able to relax in the hot spring.
