Very good Treasure Hotel, with a strong Nubian style and small rooms with unique shapes. Right by the Nile. Although the room is not big, it is small and exquisite, clean and tidy, and the service is warm and thoughtful. It was very comfortable to stay for two days. The food in the restaurant is a bit ordinary, but the juice and sandwiches in the bar are very delicious. I don't think it is necessary to stay in the old waterfall hotel. This one is very good, but it is a bit far from the city.

The service and attitude are indeed good. The disadvantage is that it is not in the urban area (of course it is very quiet. I slept with the air conditioner on and the window open all night because the air conditioner was too cold). The disadvantage is that if you bring children, you must add an extra bed, which costs US$40 per bed. This price is more expensive than many high-end hotels

A welcome respite from a really terrible hotel experience across the river. The Sonesta took us in at the last minute and saw to our every need. Beautiful location, wonderful architecture, comfy beds, great wifi. A few nits: the vanity taps in the bathroom rocked around as if not installed properly and our magnifying mirror fell right off the wall when touched. They did repair the mirror asap. Also, the breakfast eggs were inedible. Must have been made from something reconstituted. Ick. Other food was edible, though but breakfast buffet needs improvement.

Waking up and seeing the Nile at close quarters was amazing. Situated a little out of town it was lovely and tranquil.
