"We were very satisfied with this hotel. We stayed in a ground-floor room with a garden, and it was especially relaxing to fall asleep each night to the sound of rain. The hotel staff were very polite and offered services in Japanese, English, and Chinese, making communication very convenient. We also booked the hotel’s kaiseki dinner, which cost 7,000 yen per person. It’s recommended for adults, but not for children, as they may not enjoy this type of cuisine. The hotel’s hot spring facilities were excellent, offering private family baths, women-only baths, and mixed baths—providing a variety of options. On the day of check-out, the hotel even arranged a vehicle to take us to the bus station, which was very thoughtful. The only minor drawback was that we could hear footsteps from the room above. Occasionally, when someone walked upstairs, the sliding doors in our room would rattle slightly. That said, overall, it was a very pleasant stay."

"The accommodation was like a villa, with rooms (buildings) scattered across the untouched natural grounds. It felt like visiting a relative's village in the countryside. It was fun to be able to choose a yukata when checking in. The room was spacious, with a living room and two bedrooms, and there was a fairly large terrace outside the living room. The hot spring attached to the room was quite large, with plenty of room for three adults to bathe in at once. As you would expect from Manganji Onsen, the quality of the spring was very good, but if I had to mention one thing, it was that the large open-air bath meant that the water temperature dropped quickly, and the valve for adjusting the temperature was far from the bathtub, so it was a bit of a hassle. It's not a big deal, though. I was worried when I saw a centipede in the room. I was prepared for bugs in this environment, but it was quite a big one. The open-air bath in the large public bath was spacious and comfortable. The food was disappointing... The hot pot was fine, but the other dishes were not to my liking. There were quite a few dishes that seemed to have been prepared in advance and just taken out of the refrigerator. The presentation was also sloppy, and when I ordered wine, I was disappointed to receive a small bottle of Mercian. It's a little cheaper than other inns in Kurokawa, but I still felt that the food was not worth the price. It's a shame because I liked the staff, who seemed to be working hard abroad. It might be a good option if you're going with a large group and just want to enjoy the hot springs without adding meals."
