Great hotel in downtown Asheville. Clean room and comfy bed. Friendly staff.

We loved everything about the motel

Very clean, beautiful view of the mountains. You can see the highway but it’s entertaining and interesting. 2 good restaurants and the rooftop bar has a relaxing beautiful view of the mountains. The staff was friendly and helpful. The vibes were good. Cleaning staff was awesome. I stayed in a 1 bedroom king. Wish they had a microwave in the room. But there’s a public one in the lobby.

Were given the key to someone else room. We were given the key to someone else's room upon checking in. We entered the room to find the TV on and someone's belongings all over the room. There very well could have been someone changing, or someone could have attacked us is they thought we were trying to break in. Heather, at the front desk, told us we were wrong before checking herself and then getting us a new room. She tried to brush off our concerns and only offered free breakfast to compensate. This was likely a legal offense and made us feel unsafe at the hotel for the entirety of our trip.

Staff not particularly friendly. Valet Service is spotty. Don't count on them to be there 7 days a week. Room is clean. Soaps and such are full size and bolted to the walls. I liked the Evelyn and Crabtree products.
