nice experience!

Nice accomodations. Minor housekeeping issues. Courteous Staff. Fair price. Food fine. Noisy Lobby area. Automatic daily $20 amenity charge not revealed at booking but reversed upon checkout ... more an irritation than a major problem. That said I'd go there again.

We had made arrangements for a Park, Sleep, Fly stay here with a flight from Dulles. We arrived Saturday afternoon dropped our vehicle and Springhill Suites provided us with a shuttle to the airport. The desk and shuttle driver were very kind. To our surprise, after several hours at the airport our flight was canceled. I called back to the hotel after 9p. They found me a room and sent a shuttle. They again were extremely kind and helpful. Husan at the front desk offered a later checkout due to our late arrival and need for a late departure on Sunday. Sunday afternoon they quickly arranged another shuttle for us. Our driver David was so very kind and offered the same outstanding customer service we received from Husan. We will be staying at this hotel again on our way home from our international trip. I highly recommend this location. Our room was very clean and really comfortable. It included breakfast in the morning. I will come again and highly recommend it to others who are traveling!!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!! We have been staying at this spring hill suites for over ten years when traveling to the area. It has gone down hill in the past two years. Dirty!!! Whoever is managing it is really cutting corners. Dirty and old carpets, the elevators are very worn, had broken buttons and missing their certificate (“Ask for certificate at desk signs) Our room was hardly cleaned (every 3 days) and when it was the sinks and mirrors were not wiped down. One bed was missing a bed skirt but warning our last day I learned that the hotel has BED BUGS!!!! I had a bite on my arm and legs and wasn’t sure what they were until I spoke with another guest who was checking out. He had bites and then visually confirmed them at night with a flashlight. He told management and they gave him a bottle of spray to take care of the problem! Never, never again will we stay here.

This hotel is not fully maintained. The pool is still closed (see other reviews) and the third floor ice machine still broken. The airport shuttle van has at least one red warning light illuminated on its dash. But ... Our room was satisfactory. The staff treated us well during interactions. The breakfast exceeded our expectations (that were low). And, it cost only $25 more than airport parking alone would have cost us.

I stayed here a couple of nights for business recently and the property definitely needs some updating and work! Checking in was smooth. The room was a 2 out of 5, as the toilet kept running every 10 minutes or so, must’ve been leaking inside the tank. The thermostat on the wall was broken open and there was a sticker to use the one on the unit itself. The shower had two pipes sticking out of the wall and if you turned it on and turned the valve to switch from the upper shower head, water would squirt straight from one of these two random pipes sticking out of the wall – VERY ODD! The bed was soft, not as firm as many Marriott properties usually are and there were stains I found, fortunately on the other side of the bed than the side I was using – GROSS! The elevators both were damaged (the walls inside) and very stinky. Overall, the entire property is clearly just being used by the ownership to get all the money they can from it without reinvesting any into keeping it looking nice and functional.

We looked forward to using the indoor pool, but has been closed for 4 weeks and won’t open for another week. The ice machine does not work on our floor. We couldn’t get hot water in our shower - only warm water. Don’t stay on the third floor! New rose bushes look nice.

The toilet kept refilling every 10 minutes or so the entire 5 days we were there. We complained about it the first 2 days but nothing got fixed. The carpet is worn in the hallways and starting to pull apart. The breakfast has oatmeal, dry cereals, bananas, bagels and sometimes yogurt but the hot selections are pretty bad. The lighting in the room is dim to the point that it was hard to clean my glasses because I couldn't see them well enough. However, there was no road noise or noise from other rooms. Just the window heater/air conditioner and the toilet both off and on all night. Good location is best thing about it.

Absolutely terrible room, wet rug by fridge and front door with mold odor. There's no control for the heating / cooling so you can't control temperature. Dirty soiled couch. No top sheet for bed, found an old twin sheet in the closet - that is very low quality and fits a twin. Worst hotel I've stayed at ever. And it's $200 a night! Stay away from this awful hotel.
