We have stayed at this hotel a few times over the years, in that time it has changed hands, but the welcome has never faltered. We brought a couple of friends on holiday to do the DDay Landings, this hotel is just a short walk down the road to the centre, so fantastic location. Rooms are nicely decorated, comfy clean beds, tea & coffee facilities in room, with small fridge. Breakfast is charged as an extra, there is everything that you need to set you up for the day in the breakfast buffet. Damian the owner is a lovely man, only speaks a little English & us, only a little French, but we understood what was required, Arromanches is a small town, in September when we were there, everything closes at 9pm, so make sure you eat early. There is so much history around this area, the museums & a lovely walk along the beach is a must. Recommend this hotel.

Arrived late when reception was closed, however quick message and the host arrived. Good size room all nicely decorated with a huge bed. Clean and tidy, and the room tidied each day. Although it’s located next to a road, it was not noisy at all and after 8 no traffic at all. Breakfast was adequate and typical of a continental breakfast, so don’t be expecting a full English! Not sure what the average breakfast cost would be, so not sure if it’s good value or not. My only suggestion would be a light in the corner where the safe/shelves are, just to help you see, and a better tv reception. Hardly any channels maybe 7-8 and nothing in English, so maybe invest in sky or something similar. If you want a base within easy driving distance of the d day beaches then this would be a great location to stay over.

Wonderful hotel, Damien the manager was so helpful and dedicated. Even with the minimal French I had, he was more than patient and kind. Hotel rooms were bright, spacious and immaculate. This was a big hit for us. Bed linen and towels smelt so fresh and room had everything you need for a stay whilst visiting Arromanches. Few mins walk to beaches, museum, shops and restaurants. You can see all from the balcony. Only recommendation I would have would be to have milk in the rooms for the tea and coffee facilities.::even little milk powder sachets! Breakfast was continental, yet again so fresh and well presented. Can’t fault anything at all. Well done Damien and team, my family had the perfect stay. Thank-you.

Fantastic hotel. Ideal location just 5 mins off the historic Gold beach Plenty of shops, restaurants etc around the hotel. Our room was to the side of the hotel, and was different and really nice. Had a fridge also! Car parking was a little tight, but i wasnt fussed with that as the hotel experience far outwayed the little issues. Only negative was the breakfast was extremely basic and could have been better. Other than that I would certainly go back and I highly recommend.
