Old Iron Inn Bed and Breakfast

"First Time at a B&B My wife and I spent some time in Caribou, Maine to help a family member move into her new home. The furniture was not arriving for a couple days, so we needed a place to stay. We had never tried a bed and breakfast, and wanted to give it in a try in Caribou, so we stayed 2 nights at the Old Iron Bed and Breakfast. We loved it! First of all, the owners Kevin and Kate were very nice and welcoming. We enjoyed our conversations with them. The accommodations were excellent. Everything about the Rose Room was very clean and charming. Good closet space. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large and well stocked. I love the fridge with bottled water and the bath robes were nice. The snack area in the hallway was perfect for a late night cup of tea or to satisfy the munchies. My biggest pleasure was breakfast. I LOVE breakfast. Hats off to Kate. She makes a wonderful "made to order" breakfast and the best muffins you have ever ate. Just trust me on this. Breakfast was awesome. When we go back to visit family we will stay again. Thanks for a great stay. Oh, by the way, there are hundreds of old irons in the house, but I'll let Kevin tell you about those, when you stay."
