Came here for a late lunch/early dinner on a Snaefellsnes peninsula tour. What a lovely meal! The food was hot and comforting; lots of pasta and sauces to choose from and the pork was delicious. The cake for dessert was delightful as well. The staff was nice and seemed to really enjoy meeting us.

Fácil estacionamento e próximo a rodovia principal.

Amore a prima visita.

My visit to Lysuholl was a delightful experience! The ambiance of this place is incredibly cozy, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere that truly feels like home. The host's politeness added an extra layer of comfort, making the visit truly enjoyable. The highlight of my visit was the outstanding homecooked meal. Served with care and attention, the flavors were both delightful and authentic—a true reflection of Icelandic hospitality. If you're looking for a welcoming destination with a gracious host and exceptional home-cooked cuisine, Lysuholl is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Lysuholl was the most incredible attraction on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. They provided a buffet-style dinner (best gravy I've ever had). Rooms were spacious and gave us an incredible view of the northern lights. Horseback tour to the beach was also phenomenal. I highly recommend visiting here!

Super leuk

We arrived an hour or so before the kitchen officially closed. The food was served buffet style. Much of what should have been hot food was tepid or cold (room temperature). There were no warming trays or lids. Some of the offerings had run out. The food we tried was tasty, but left us wishing it was hot. It would probably be a reasonably good value if you arrive near the beginning of the serving hours.

Stayed here one night in March 2023. Beds in the cabin were comfortable and the room was well heated. No heat in the bathroom, which would have been fine if we could have kept the door to the room open. Unfortunately, the toilet ran constantly and loudly without a break. Very poor drainage in the shower. And nowhere to hang a towel. Absolutely gorgeous views. Staff was wonderfully friendly, though run off their feet by multiple tour groups surging into the restaurant. The food looked good but they had no room for us, and then there was no dinner service since we were the only ones staying at the hotel that night.

We stopped here for lunch on our day tour of the Snaefellsnes peninsula tour. The food was really good. There was a cod dish, a vegan curry, a meat dish, pasta, potatoes, rice, bread and salad. The owner had a good understanding of gluten free so was able to advise me what I could and couldn’t have. The vegan curry was very tasty and I had it with rice, potatoes, and salad. The potato’s were proper good. After lunch we went outside to spend some time with the Icelandic horses. Very cool place.
