Doubletree by Hilton Arlington DFW South

Like the hotel, near shopping mall. recommended to new residents

Had pleasant stay. Beds were comfortable, but was able to hear some noises from other rooms.

The front desk staff was quite pleasant. Our first night was fine. We had no hot water Sunday morning nor when we returned from the Cowboys game. The bar staff "turned over" and the new staff didn't know how to bill to a room nor use the credit card system, so food/beverages were cash only and they struggled with that. The shuttle service the hotel offers to the game seemed great when we signed up - promised air conditioned charter bus. We did have that on the way. That morning; however, the owner was promoting stops at "Gentlemen's Clubs" on the way home. The return "bus" was a van with no (or little) AC, we were all sweating profusely the entire ride and again, more offers to stop at Gentlemen's Clubs b/c people didn't want to just be bored all night. Terribly inappropriate. I was solicited for feedback about the stay and provided, but never contacted with a reply, explanation, offer of Hilton points or reimbursement for cold showers in what is supposed to be a solid hotel chain. No apologies either. Hilton used to be a reputable brand, but our experience at a Hilton ParkSleepFly in Philadelphia on our way to this trip and this situation have us changing our plans for two trips later this year due extremely horrible customer service and zero accountability for issues.

1st time coming to Dallas, wanted to stay close to Stadium for cowboys game. We looked at a lot of hotels close by but the reason we picked this one is Cory. He is the shuttle driver who got us all set up for our round trip ride to the stadium. I read all about him prior to booking and reviews were spot on. Amazing personality, big smile, I knew immediately we were in good hands. Doubletree definitely benefits from having this man here, thank you Cory! You made this trip a blast!
