Hi, my stay was good. Food was lovely (would have been nice if more options ). Not sure if renovations are happening because our room still had a tub and sink compared to the rooms we had seen. Thank you

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, we were only there for 3 nights, but the rooms were warm, cosy and clean. Food was excellent.

We spent a wonderful weekend relaxing at the Nest Hotel. It has the feel of an old school hotel with tea served on the verandah, overlooking the mountain. The meals (half board) were very good and part of the charm of the Nest Hotel. The atmosphere is very homely and friendly.

This was the umpteenth time I have been part of a group of colleagues, friends, gathering to relax, reminisce or celebrate an anniversary. In May 2025, (now), our group comprised most members of the Natal University Athletics Club in 1968-69 (most ran the Comrades marathon back then.) The relaxed happy ambience of The Nest was exactly what such fellowship needed to celebrate. During the days we made use of the many local amenities available; Falcon Ridge, Drakensberg Boys Choir, Craft Beer Tasting, and walks on the grounds of The Nest. My wife and I, within a group or alone, will certainly return - probably many times; because as pensioners the tariffs are also extremely honest.
