"One of the biggest disappointments for the last few years: territory of the hotel and views are amazing. However the rest was kind of surprising… We got an upgrade from the standard room but room was still tiny, thus with a great view. Don't want to imagine what would we get as original booking. Staff: lady who checked us in was arrogant and unfriendly and we both had a feeling that we own her something, thus she was kind of smiling. When we left we room we kept DND sign on the door, as we didn't want anyone enter the room… To our surprise DND sign was removed and it was partly cleaned, thus housemate didn't refill the shampoo and shower gel which both were almost empty; Room: we had a balcony and nice view towards the sea and valley and it was amazing. not enough lights in the room, no sockets by the bed, bathroom equipped with the hammam which was not working… Why do you need it in tiny room when there is no space for the sink and washing the face… no small fridge in the room and entire space designed rather questionable. Internet is very weak and slow; Racines restaurant: dinner was an epic fail… 1) In my humble opinion you can not have such a short list of dishes in the menu of the main restaurant: Mussels (we don't eat it) + Ossobuko (not a favourite dish and quality of cooking is questionable) + Duck breast (it was an absolute fail! If your Chef can't cook duck - don't include it in the menu). After our complaint duck and 2 glasses of wine were removed from the bill but evening was spoiled, as we simply left hungry. Breakfast was so-so in terms of the food selection and service. Coffee served in kind of plates which looks more like a basin, so we had to pour it to the glass for water. On the check out all out comments were taken rather indifferent and the only thing we heard was "sorry". Overall: there is no value in the hotel and don't think we will ever come back"

"Loved staying here. Beautiful spot in the heart of the Ardèche. The room had everything we would need for a family of four including a dishwasher and washing machine. The bed and linen was super comfy and the kids adored their bunk beds. We thought we would go out more for meals but enjoyed the apartment and cooking, so stayed in more in the evenings. The area surrounding the apartment is brilliant. There is so much to do. We loved swimming near Jaujac, the square of Jaujac & Pont de diable the most. Loved the spa, breakfast & pool too. The hosts were very helpful & kind! We will be back. Many thanks."

"Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Air conditioned rooms were cool in the heatwave, and spotlessly clean. The setting is beautiful. However, the evening meal, described as a ‘experience of culinary delights’ was totally misleading. The menu was extremely limited , just a choice of 2 items per course. This didn’t bother us as we like most things. But the food was awful. Dry fish, tough duck, and both drowned in the same thick potato slurry. The photos on various review sites are obviously very out of date, as they show highly-skilled and beautifully presented chef dishes. Clearly the kitchen staff have changed. I realise that sometimes running costs mean streamlining the menu and not having such skilled chefs, but please don’t continue to sell a gastro experience, which it certainly is not. Breakfast was great, and the staff are lovely. We would return if the menu was changed to only offer a selection that was within the chef’s capabilities, and a good standard could be achieved."

"We all loved this place and our rooms were really nice, clean, comfortable, nice balconies with great views. I did think the area did look tired and needed a good tidy up and perhaps some attention paid to the actual landscaping on site. However, the views from our rooms were stunning and, after the day trippers had gone, all was quiet and tranquil. Dinner was excellent, one of the best we had on this trip. Breakfast was absolutely fine but, unusually, was served in a tray at the breakfast table, croissants were in paper bags and juice was served in your own carafe! I don't understand why they serve english jam and juice though. Staff were very helpful and between their attempt at engish and my attempt at french, we managed! This is definitely on our list to visit again."

"We reserved the cleaning package to find a apartment that is not really clean. With all the supplements to be paid, we still have the uncertainty of having everything you need. For example, if you rent the baby bed, there are no mattresses. You need to know it in advance. If there is a washing machine, we would expect the maintenance to be done (salt + liquid filled). But that was not the case. What we liked: the tranquility of the site, table tennis and the proximity to the stores."

"The landscape is stunning, the food marvellous. The Hotel is partly renovated (Bathrooms), I didn't enjoy the room to the street (bad light), maybe the other rooms with balcony are nicer. The pool is nice, the Gym ok. Breakfast was delicious, just the room seams a bit odd compared with the restaurant. Dinner was very nice. Maybe a bit too expensive a la carte, but there is a half board option. unfortunaly this option wasn't offered to me and I got wrong information about the check in hours, which was a bit unpleasant. and I really don't like it if I'm blamed for mistakes of other people. the general problem with French people meeting foreigners is also valid. I don't like stereotypes, but it's better to polish your school French and don't expect a very warm welcome. a professional welcome: yes, but not comparable to other countries. well, I didn't notice anyone not from France except the very friendly waiter. over all, not a bad experience. not sure if I'll repeat it."
